Life is so cruel sometimes you have to find humor even in its folds. That was a funny moment of the reality of something imperfect. Thanks for posting because I had mixed emotions on that moment but absolutely see the humor too.😊

U can tell he was a great man the way his kids treat him. I admire this family. I wish every family could experience so much love and respect. I just admire them so much❤

@@dsalnorcal1434 I empathize so much with you and your Dad! Mine had dementia for about 10 years then passed away in my arms on this past Christmas day ❤ Seeing your interactions remind me so much of my Daddy (he made it to just a couple months before his 80th bday)
he really is all American man .... all he cares about is his family , his wallet and balance.... he found out whats in the bank . he said good enough for me .. hes a blessing and inspiration. 😤😘
i hope that in my old age i'll have kids who've both had such a positive experience that they want me to care for me if i need it, and that they're as caring and chill as mark and dan are talking to him and sharing the responsibilities

They owe him too because he raised them when they needed him most. Dan, Mark and the rest of their family members are among the VERY few westerners who live upto the core of the family value.

I just want to say, I never wanted to reach my 90’s, but after seeing your Dad, i’m perfectly fine if I get there. He makes me laugh so much and now I hope I live to be 90
He seemed so excited when dan said people were coming over. It's great to see a son take care of his father instead of doing what many do and put them in a nursing home where they are depressed or treated bad all the time. I dont know them but i can say i have real love for grandpa and dan. They are the best.
Congratulations dad. Isn’t it funny how he forgets so much and yet he has such a great command of the English language, especially his own communication techniques that he had collected throughout his life and still uses, like how he communicates his gratitude for happy news. Am I that old, OMG, well thank you Mark. Now that is something I would express differently, same message but relayed differently. He still remembers his words and phrases that is unique to him. We need to be very gentle with our folks, they aren’t annoying us intentionally, even though sometimes it may seem like it. Being the child of a parent who has Alzheimer’s I think is a great honour. We are trusted with looking after someone who would die for us when we were young and we were in danger, and now we have an opportunity to repay them for all their hard work.
