I really hope you had that camera connected to your phone so you could watch the live feed. What if she walked into another room and got seriously hurt?
Do not scare/torture your child like this. It happened to me when I was 3 and I had night terrors for many years after that! Many people do not have any idea how terrifying this is to some children.
I’m a huge fan of people calling out parents who put their kids through stuff just for clicks, but I don’t see it here. She was left in her own home, with a camera that she’s probably grown to understand isn’t left on unless her parents are nearby, and most likely knowing mom’s in the house. Also, dad “left” in a way that parents would do all the time just to bring excess stuff to the car, and she’s not so young not to have an understanding that he’s still there. She didn’t look scared, either. This kind of thing, at that age and for this little time, would most likely only be scary if she’d been left in a strange place, with strangers, or if she had trauma from her parents _not_ coming back and leaving her to struggle. Which doesn’t seem to be the case.
My now ex-husband left our 5 year old at the wrong school. Just dropped him and drove off. My son wandered around looking for his teacher until an adult grabbed a clue. I let him do school responsibility one additional time he left the 11 year old with no lunch nor lunch money. He was a great playmate but a neglectful father.
That’s great. Now she’ll have that memory for life. I had something similar happen . My dad left for real while he was at my school for parent day. I didn’t know he was leaving.
The Word gosh comes from Goshen. Jesus is the only way! Why are you pretending to leave her behind? Fathers are supposed to chase their children not the other way around!
I wish parents would stop playing pranks on their children for videos. They are literally teaching their children that they have parents who can’t be trusted.
