Culture don't like this message.. darkness has to leave when you turn on the light. Lies have to go when truth comes to the scene. Love the heaven perspective, our God is a Father not a boss.

20:18 - "it's better to learn the right way than to unlearn the wrong way" that actually gave me goosebumps, that hit me really hard

"when you were younger you were TRAINED that you were a burden.... so you don't ask for help .. or even prayer..." Welp I'm just gonna cry in my lil hole

Through this sermon, it has been revealed to me why I don't trust God with His promises for me. Every time I ask my (earthly) dad for something he says he will get it or do it for me but he never does. It's to the point where I will ask (my earthly dad) but don't expect it to really get done or for him to give it to me and that has become the way I view God. I ask God for things but don't really believe He will do it for me & without belief/faith you can't manifest anything. I didn't realize the impact of daddy issues in my life until this sermon. Thanks for helping me get to the root of this. Lord release me this year from all strings attached to daddy issues, Amen!

I need this. I'm 28 w / no dad. Never.. Of course I have the Lord, but not having my earthly dad I had problems with rejection, abandonment, and self esteem issues. 😞 Ive always wanted him. But the Lord is amazing ! He's healing me.!

Why don’t people ever talk about mommy issues ?

This was a God appointed sermon for me. I live with my father and have dealt with core issues unresolved for 33 years. All the negative hurtful messages from my earthly father are not what my heavenly father says about me. I have been expecting a man to fill the voids and love me like my father didn't. The more you try to push a man and expect him to fix what he didn't break , you will put pressure on him and he will walk away because he can't please you, or he will stick by you if you are working on the core issues and he doesn't bail, a man who believes in you and sticks by you. So true that the enemy is after the father because if he destroys the man, the family comes down with it, such as in my case. Relationship to relationship because of unhealed and unresolved core issues! My symptoms are anxiety, perfectionism ,ocd, fear of failure, criticism, unforgiveness,anger, well some are the trained behaviors, the ones that arent right but I didn't know any better.

Pastor Todd is such a blessing to the world.

God deposited this word in my spirit at the end of 2018 .I had a traveling job and gave it up because I realized how much my absence was affecting my son. God is definitely releasing things in my life this year🔥

Whenever im going through something, God uses you to speak on the exact thing im struggling on, for a young girl who has lived by herself since 17, having such a person speak spiritual wisdom in my life is so important to me and honestly helps shape my life, so thank you for doing Gods work and helping us get through seasons

I never grew up with my father or had a relationship with him, but I always told myself it never bothered me. This message opened emotions in me that I didn't think I had towards our relationship. I seriously needed this, I have struggled all my life with all these issues because I don't know my father. He died before I was born and I tried to fill up the vacuum but nobody/ nothing could do that for me. Not the men I dated, friends, money, sex etc I battled with Rejection, low self esteem , abandonment, feeling unloved etc But thank God for his love for my life. Am healing daily. Thank you pastor Mike.

When he talked about your father not showing you grace when you messed up so you don't think God can forgive you..... i balled out of control that's why it's so hard for me to forgive myself when i feel like I've made a bad choice

Deep down I really needed to hear this. I needed to hear this message because I am adopted and even though I have been blessed to have a family there are times where I feel alone and I feel by myself and there are times when I don't want to be around them and I get to the point where I feel like I need to leave I cannot be here no more. Nonetheless I tell God thank you for all that he has done for me. whatever emotions that are dwelling inside of me that caused me to be angry upset or annoyed quickly I give it to him because I know he cares and out of all the people in my life God is the only father I know.

I knew this already but i'm still mad that i have to figure life out on my won because my foundation was not solid. both my parents are alive and well , they just did what their parents did and now i have to break the cycle. and to be honest that can be DRAINING . i jUst need the strength to keep going and keep obeying God to do what he called me to do . i know i need to forgive and let it go tho. Thank you for this message , a lot of people will benefit from this.

Mine is more like mummy issues. I remember some months when I was just eating out with a friend & discussing my mom & other spiritual issues, my friend said to me, “Do you realise that the same way you treat your mom, is the same way you treat God?” It hadn’t dawned on me until that day that my trust issues, patience & everything with God was all a bigger picture of how it was with my own mom. God will help us all through if we let him.

Oh my God the tears flowed. The part where you discussed adoption hit the feels, as I grew up feeling that although I have been raised by the most blessed family, I still was reminded of the fact that my mum left me here and wanted to abort me. At the same time, I never knew my father. Thank you so much Pastor Mike, God is surely working within this part of our release!

I was dealing with issues today I didn’t wanna deal with and after talking with a friend I disregarded it and for some reason felt drawn to watch this vid after a part of a sermon I came across on Instagram. Next thing you know it mentions how we can “cut people off when we don’t wanna deal with something” and “strings attached to us since childhood” and I’m like don’t you love God’s timing even on things you don’t wanna deal with 🤣

Jesus Christ needs to be our foundation.. a house built in the sand goin’ get flopped over in the storms.. build on the Rock!

I needed this. Recently I’ve been doing some self reflecting, i realized i don’t like who i am. Not on an insecure but i don’t like my habits / traits. I’ve realized as you said i was trained the wrong way. I can’t sleep and nothing is interesting me so i decided to watch a sermon and this confirmed everything i have been thinking/ feeling and gave me some more insight gonna watch the others this weekend.

I saw the title and thought this was some stand up on daddy issues 😂 But I'm thankful it wasn't; this really touched home, even had me crying at the end.

God released me from my daddy issues very very recently. The way i see myself, relationships, and God has all changed. One thing he said that i unfortunately did was ruin a relationship with a good man because i was scared of marrying someone like my dad. however, i learned so much. watching this just confirmed everything i walked through.. whats crazy is right before release, I think i experienced my lowest low. depression, self doubt, low self esteem, feeling like God couldnt love it even though i knew better, I hit bottom... Then i had to go visit my dad in the hospital cause he has cancer. He was still mixed up in some mess, and as i was leaving God just spoke to me and said. "You are not your dads mistakes, you dont have to continue to carry them in you" i never realized everything i though was wrong with me where just the areas my dad failed to come thru as a father. In that moment i felt lighter and just havent been the same since. with that said the lust that was just a craving for emotional intamacy has just about died, i can focus on God. i can see myself clearer... so much has changed even my best friend of 10 years said she can see a difference and all the while i didnt think it was so visible. i say all that to say God will work it out for you. in the mid of me thinking i was unwanted by God he was working on showing me just how wanted i am.. however there is a ministry in your pain, just keep going. if you are at rock bottom a day break is on the way. if he could for me i know he can for you. guys i was MESSED UP.

My daddy was my first release this year (1/01/2019). I appreciate this word. And I love and appreciate when our Father does the smallest things to let us know we heard Him right and that he cares for little ol' us. #REleaseREleasingREleased. 💯 God continue to bless this ministry.
