I would adopt. There are puppies in shelters as well if you want a puppy. They all are in desperate need of homes.

Please adopt... There are so many dogs that have been abandoned, mistreated and abused that it would be sad to know we are oblivious.. forget about what they do in LA... do it because your heart feels it's the right thing to do. Also, they know they have been abused and abandoned and they are more loyal to their rescuers/adopters for some reason!

I think of a small pasta shell- I can do that- so that’s my thought is if I can swallow a small pasta shell- I can swallow a pill. I need that image each time however.

Labs are the best. All the Dogs need homes. Get em from wherever you want. Not every dog has to come from a rescue.

I have a little mini Dorkie (dachshund Yorkie mix) we make jokes that she is really a human toddler in a dog suit. I’ve had many different dog breeds and this one is special. She has the funniest personality and she is smart. Not in a “learn a trick” way but she knows how to manipulate and get what she wants lol. She’s the best

You guys are great on here! ❤ Love cats though! 🐱 So much easier to take care of and to leave for a few days if you go on a short vacation. I’m allergic to dogs, too. My cats are more like dogs as far as personality, though. 😊

Zyrtec usually takes care of a cat allergy if you go to someone’s house who has it. I’ve never had an evil cat. Mine have always been so friendly and sweet. My love bugs .

I had to give my sons friend (21 yrs old!) an ibuprofen and he could not swallow a pill so I stuffed it in a mini muffin and he swallows the mini muffin no problem! It worked!!!

Rescue dogs know that you are saving them which means they love you more. Helen Keller, the little Rascals had pit bulls. They make the best children guard dogs plus people are fearful like you. If you get a cute expensive dog there is a risk of theft.
