The part about someone wanting to buy his mower which he wasn’t intending on selling reminded me of the one and ONLY garage sale that I consented on doing with my family. I normally prefer to donate to a thrift store and take a tax write-off. But my daughter had a toy cash register that actually worked like a real cash register and held American-sized bills. So she wanted to do a garage sale so she could use this cash register for real. So my wife and I put in a ton of effort cleaning, organizing, pricing, and displaying items for sale. Early on the first morning of the sale I went down the street to post signs directing traffic to our home while my wife and daughter sat behind the cash register waiting for customers. Ten minutes later I returned home and the cash register was gone. The first customer that came wanted that cash register so badly that she kept upping her offer until my wife and daughter couldn’t resist and sold it!
This gentleman is my spirit animal. I work in logistics and after a rough day in my cubicle.... I watch my buddy. Keep up the great content, and have yourself a great summer.
His neighbor must’ve lost the neighborhood lawn competition and decided to put their house up for sale due to humiliation. That or Miles filming himself talking to no one is creeping him out 😆
I feel like you missed out on the dad move of telling a potential taker exactly how to fix a broken item while trying to get you to take it. All it needs is this part and you can get it here and with the x and y tools this baby is better than anything you can buy today
My husband shopped for a year for a new mower. Finally someone returned one and he got a deal. At last! Must have spent at least 60 hours going out to look.
Haha like how you mentioned Okaboji. Unless there’s another Okaboji in IA I’m like 30 minutes from there and visit the area quite often. Plus my neighbor just had a garage sale and tried selling me a bow flex 😂
We almost bought a Bowflex. And a Gazelle. I have free weights that I vacuum and his heavy weights that almost squish my toes when I'm cleaning as it is. 😂
so why didn’t he sell the push mower when the original goal was to make enough money to buy that new riding lawn mower? Nvm just remembered that dads gotta have the backup for when the good one breaks down. Can’t let that grass go uncut
@@zachsteele6964 i cracked it open one of my rods is bent. I did oil changes by the manual. Admittedly i did change out the spark plugs early (replaced with the spark plugs in the manual and just hand tighten until snug) and changed the air filter every 10 hours. I used nonethanol gas the whole time I had it. I will never own anything with a brigs in it again.

Those New Balance shoes. Omg. Our friggin TRUCK got stolen & my husband said My tennis shoes were in that truck! We got the truck back but not his shoes. He told his friend at work about it & his friend said, "You mean those Walmart shoes? They took your Walmart shoes??" LOL!!
My dad will say “honey, you can’t sell that, that’s a real nice one, I use that” then my mom will say “then can I sell one of the other 3 that are just like it?”
