Yeah, I really think Em & Elton have always been good friends. As far as I know there was ever any 'falling out' between them. Elton has been a staunch Em supporter/defender throughout the years, even helping Em with sobriety by becoming his sponsor. Elton looked at things a little differently than others. He understood the differences between Marshall Mathers (the private person), Eminem (the artist/celeb) & Slim Shady (the angry, antagonizing performer/alter-ego). Elton understood the "game" that Em had to play to maintain a certain image & didn't take offense to any of his lyrics, behavior, etc. (unlike so many others...smh 🙄). A lot of people might not realize that Elton has an awesome sense of humor! I watched an interview w/him talking about his & Em's historic 'Stan' performance. Obviously, Elton sang Dido's hook on the song ... & jokingly he remarked that he "put the L in Dido" 🤣. He also mentioned that when he & his partner got married, Em's gift to them was 2 diamond encrusted cock-rings! 😂 LOL...classic Em!! Gotta love it!
