@@Matthias1386 i just found your channel, Daedalus is one of my favourite thrice songs, and your acoustic version is really good, I used it to learn the song, thanks
Did you start this comment on the middle of listening or something? Also if you are a Thrice fan this is the song that made me become obsessed with them. Completely different from what I was into back then.
Yes, exactly that. At first I was impressed.. But then as I listened on and was stunned by the emotion and depth, not to mention hitting those notes perfectly. Dude, yeah this one is incredible, you look like the guy too lol. If you do any more Thrice covers I'd love to hear your 'Moving Mountains' and 'Red Sky' or even 'The Artist in the Ambulance' / 'Stare at the sun'. I feel like you could do any Thrice song awesomely. 👏
@@supremegoon2767 I have a ton of Thrice on my channel. To me I was pretty spot on with this one. Sometimes songs or just your voice can sound off or you can't get the intensity you are trying to channel. I'm glad you liked it. I did AITA and Circles, Beggars, The Long Defeat, Don't Tell And We Won't Ask, maybe a couple more.
Thanks for the comment. Yea I don't realize stuff like that til later. I had a lot of trouble with the timing in Summer Set Fire to the Rain and Robot Soft Exorcism. Maybe one day I will do them again. I appreciate your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed the outro at least.
@@Matthias1386 I liked the entire song. The imperfections is what makes me love instrumental music. If it's too perfect like techno, I have issues with epilepsy. You made part of the solo in a major key, which is what made me nearly abandon the recording. Despite that one missing note, I finished it and I'm glad I did. The slightly missed note on the first course and slightly speeding up at the Emaj chord is just nitpicking. They are mistakes I make all the time too.
@@ianporret3615 I wasnt offended or anything. I used to have alot more covers on here but i removed them because there were things i didnt like about them. I appreciate thay you enjoyed it though and i hope if i ever post again it will be me doing the best i possibly can.
