@@wayne47able but the book is written from the perspective of the speculative thoughts of a few individuals and their firsthand accounts as well. It didn't show daemons perspective as the other books might have.
@justinsmithing True but even then, it was well known he was fighting in the stepstones. He was never welcomed in Runestone and if he was there at the time of her death people would've known because they would've seen his dragon. The moment he came to try and make a claim to her lands he was immediately dismissed. He didn't kill her. That's the main change in the story that I did not like.
I never thought Daemon was misunderstood, nor did I ever think he was justified. I think he was always handsome and very charming. It is unreal what characters and people can get by with when they possess charisma and are blessed with good looks.

I think it’s clear that daemon has the capacity for the most evil. Fair to say that some believe that he’s misunderstood. It’s true. At least in the way the show projects it.
I think daemon doesn’t want the throne. he needs his own fashion and he cares of his family in his own way. he doesn’t show any mercy for opponents. He didn’t have intention to kill lady reharoys, her arrogance made him to kill her. If he had intentions for the crown, he wouldn’t agree to marry from velaryon family. He chose rheanyra after death of velaryon wife
I haven't read any of the books, so I am very curious about Daemon being Aemond's dad? Just looking at the features chosen for both actors- same bone structure, straight hair vs. Aegon having his Daddy's wavy hair. The names have the same letters, just switch the D from the beginning to the end and they both have the same characteristics. The queen did show up late to the wedding party a little after Daemon. Somebody fill me in
Larys the Clubfoot isn't nowhere on Littlefingers level as far as cunning and intelligence but yeah he is definitely Ruthless.I don't know if Littlefinger would kill his own family for more power like Larys did
Haven’t read the books.. but TV version of Otto isn’t a villain but more of an anti- hero. Besides Viserys, Otto comes off to me as the original girl dad 🤷🏿♀️. I feel like my dad would the same energy. Otto was like..my daughter wasn’t born in world where she can have power so I’m gonna do everything I can to give her best position possible
I don't like how he uses his daughter and gives her so little real affection, she's just a pawn to achieve his goals. I'll just call him villain lite for now since his full story has yet to be revealed. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
aemond isnt morally grey lol as soon as he got a dragon he threatened his family members with it he then lets his dragon kill his cousin and secretly he might be sleeping with is sister. daemon's response of killing a child of aegon's might be thought of by cruel but he just had his stepson murdered by he same family its not like aemond came to them upset and apologetic.
