Don't understand why everyone is comparing Longclaw with Dark Sister. History is made by those who wielded the sword, not by sharpness of the blade. And for the record, both the swords are valeryan steel, forged in same era and carried across the narrow sea during Aegon's conquest.

Jons got way more battle experience with Watchers on the wall, Hardhome, Battle of the bastards, Beyond the wall, The Long Night and Battle of kings landing. He’s owns Daemon easily.

In the books Jons a skilled fighter but not elite like his show counterpart.

In a straight up sword fight, Jon would 100% win. The man has fought in conditions worse than Daemon and has proven himself to be incredibly skilled, he’s faced all manner of terrifying creatures and straight up beaten White Walkers and hardened warriors in single combat. In a fight including both their Dragons then of course Daemon would win, Caraxes is a beast of a different kind.
