Another great vid. I never realized just how many eye-related deaths and injuries there were. It's an obvious anatomical soft spot, but it makes for great symbolism and metaphor, as well. GRRM like using the "eye"/"isle" wordplay too with locations like the "God's Eye isle"; "The Sapphire Isle/eye", etc....Plus, eyepatches are just plain metal af \m/ Cheers!
I do not look forward to seeing more dragon deaths because of humans' stupidity. I am just going to believe they all get away and go back to Valeria to live out their lives in peace
Daemon and Aemond behave like Visenya reincarnated in both of them. At this point, is funny how defient, lurid and dangerous both of them are. I personally wager the price Daemon paid for a new life is his dragon bond with Caraxes and his body to the weirwoods. Maybe a veiny branch pearing through the once Rogue Princes eye while he embarks in a new existential state. The parallels between him and Bloodraven are jarring. In my view, the green men are normal people that wear green ceremonial garb, branch like horns and green face paint as an emulation of older rituals by Garth the Green and Weirwood keepers. The green men do as the druids did for their psychopomp dieties. Power lies in emmulation, to be a godly green men, you should look like one and probably tripp on some high doses of weirwood paste. They might also be wargs and have a few greenseers amoug them. Since the magic has begun thinning for thousands of years, I assume they would be in search of any magic bloodline person with warging abilities and in possesion ot ancient priceless knowledge. And most importantly, one with a strong psyche and pronounced sense of self. Only the strong ones can fly.
I love the links with Egyptian mythology. I know G R R Martin used the Ancient Egyptians as inspiration for the Targaryens with their intermarriage in their royal line. It makes sense he would incorporate some of their mythology too.
@@Nalhirrim I cut out a section that included that, it just felt a bit clunky! We've talked about that a lot in my live streams. Appreciate you mentioning him!
I’m Tired of everyone using that photo for dreamfyre when it was never confirmed that’s it’s truly her we all just guessed and ran wit it , all the info she just elaborated is very accurate
Do you think Alys Royal bastard, Aemond's child will be what bloodline Jenny of Oldstones ends up born from? Ultimately wedding the Prince of Dragon Flies (LilDunk)? I have no keen insights or ability to build a foundation under this thinkin&thunkin but, it's one of many crazy ideas this story allows me to postulate and ponder upon. I do however; love this whole idea and theory. It's far more backed up and understandable. Cheers!
@@patrickpilkington6241 I am really starting to think that (you can probably tell by the progression of my videos 😂 I've been working my way towards that idea!)
Cant wait to see Daemon leap from The Blood Worm and stab Dark Sister through Aemon's sapphire 200 ft in the air, and then plummet into the Gods Eye never to be seen again but whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatever
Alys will be pregnant with Daemon's bastard on the show and they will have sex in the next episode. In the book it is not at all a fact that the child was from Aemond. Alys pushed Aemond to his death, please stop talking nonsense about their love relationship, which is a rumor. It would be nice if Aemonda was reborn as Brynden Rivers.
@@gurunvalgarsdottir6664 look I agree with you but stating that alys and aemond did not have a romantic relationship is simply not true. She flew off with him on Vhagar for months; he calls her his lady. Now as to what alys' true motivations were, I definitely believe she was using him and pushing him towards his death. She uses potions and philtres on he and Cole to drive a wedge between them. But they absolutely were together, however authentic it may or may not have been.
