That's what brought me to your channel. Absolutely amazing song and I also had no idea that the notes come out of the tube, not the other way around.... But I'm not gonna beat myself up about it since... I hear it's a common misconception. Keep killing it sir. You've this sub!
@@Cacowninja Sadly, yeah. They made a farewell video that should be up on their RU-vid channel. I’m just glad that vids like this are gonna keep their legacy alive.
Legend says that Daft Punk died back in 1999 due to Collateral Damage by explosion and that these are robots we've been listening to the past 20 years😳😳😳
Nanana that that don’t kill me can only make me stronger I need you to hurry up now cuz I can’t wait much longer. I know I got to be right now cuz I can’t get much wronger. Man I been waiting all night now. That’s how long I been on you.
Don't comment much on RU-vid but had to on this. Don't care how long this has been out there just seen it for the first time. Forget all the bollox about having the right gear, knowing the notes and practicing until you got it. My absolute favourite thing about this is the individuality of the groove. Learned it. owned it, played it with soul and delivered a whole new groove to it which I prefer to the original. F*ckin Bravo.
Fantastic! Especially the part at 2:35. I wasn't expecting it to be this accurate - plus, you didn't edit anything which made it all the more epic! All in all, this is awesome! Great job! :D
Good timing, I just ‘came back’ :) Not with a Daft Punk cover though, just released a new Talkbox original: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h_L5v9OTSxc.html
@@LorenzRhode Can't wait for the rest my man, I absolutely love this. Your talent is through the roof. Would love to see some 'I'm Blue' or some more daft punk songs.
I think part of the reason this sounds so authentic is because the creator is German, as he stated in the comments, and Daft Punk were French, and their sound was unique because of the combination of the talk box + the slight differences in pronunciation due to them being French, and this also applies for this cover, hence why is sounds so authentic despite you not being able to pinpoint exactly why
Just a bunch of _Detroit: Become Human_ androids singing this like, "Hello, Colonel! My name is Connor! I'm the android sent by Cyberlife! I have come to sing!"
If I had heard that on the radio, I would have thought it was really Daft Punk. A side by side comparison with the original reveal how good this is. Accuracy, attention to details, amazing!
I like how when he can’t use the mod dial on the left to distort his voice while he’s using his left hand, he does the little trills with his right. If your a musician hopefully u get what I’m saying, super cool!
Im having the time of my life naked bopping to this song on mushrooms allllllll by myself in my room right now and I just gotta thank ya. best home concert ever./
man, I bet you could kill some Zapp! haha I need to know what kind of keyboard that is. And what kind of talkbox! that was really tight and I've never even heard the original.
@@jazzyjeph4143 thx. I finally found out what those things were and yeah, it's Nord this or that. Various models but basically Nord is the company. But I thought why would I spend $2500 just to do a talkbox thing? If I were really good on keyboard maybe. I have a DX7 but I don't know if I can get what I need from that to do a good talkbox effect. Maybe I could. Some guy did a vid on making a good saw wave using it. But does a DX7 allow for real legato and setting the glide amount from one note to the next? I don't think so.
@@TruthSurge The DX7 has more than enough power to create interesting talkbox tones, and can also recreate the usual "analog" waveforms. Also, if I remember correctly, it has monophonic modes, and both monophonic and polyphonic portamento.
@@TruthSurge hundreds of companies make talk boxes, not just nord....and you can get them for 150 bucks, I have no idea where you’re getting $2500 from. You can get a good voice box tone from a $50 keyboard if you pick the right settings, and you should check out Stevie Wonder and some other artists, they make some great music with the talk box with no legato or slide effects. You’d be surprised how nice a sound you can get for cheap if you do a tiny bit of research, and your dx7 will be more than adequate.
I've looked everywhere for someone who could do this as good as you can and I've found nothing, This is amazing and you obviously have an amazing talent. Keep up the good work bro
You should make more talk box music videos man. People can’t get enough of it! Well I’m sure I can’t get enough of this video man. You have a awesome talent dude.
Sean Studio you can’t talk with a talk box it interferes with the notes. All you do with your mouth is shape the words all the sound comes from the synth
