I unknowingly stumbled upon Thievery Corporation and Daft Punk back-to-back at my first ever music festival. I knew who they were but you can't quantify a live performance of this variety. Still remember it like it's yesterday. As the great authors once said, "In the hands of a master, records become tools of spiritual communion that for many are the most powerful events of their lives" - Frank Broughton and Bill Brewster, Last Night a DJ Saved My Life
Wesley Shokunbi January the 26th, 8 p.m EST (that's when the Grammys begin). I expect them to perform with Pharrel Williams, with the song Get Lucky. They performed at the 2008 Grammys as well with Kanye West, so I expect them to perform with someone else again. I would love to see Julian Casablancas as well (Instant Crush)

J'y étais à ce concert et je peux vous dire que c'était ULTIME !!! J'ai jamais vu un show pareil ! Il n'y a que les DAFT PUNK pour faire une tuerie pareil. Un grand merci pour le partage, ca m'a rappellé des tout bons moments :-D

Thank you for posting this. I remember finding this when it was first uploaded back two years ago, and ever since RAM was announced, I think I've watched it 10+ times since then.
No one, not even Daft Punk them selves could ever top Alive 2007. I honestly believe Dp failed to realize how much of an amazing, out of this world, job they conducted with this show .... they truly out did them selves those 2 years they went on tour. Fucking legends, pioneers, gods among pesants. Honestly. //∆\\
This seriously brought back sooooo many memories from that show. Still probably one of the top shows i have ever been too. I had goosebumps the whole time watching this video. Thanks for this!
Wow this is the best video of this complete show i've seen. The video/audio quality, the angles and the way it syncs up with the music. Bravo! I've always wanted to see it again, and this is the closest I'll ever come
Awesome video. This is probably the best quality I've seen on a video here on RU-vid of one of their shows. Thanks for the upload. Daft Punk kicks major ass.
Holy shit. This is the show. I had a fucking transcendent spiritual experience at this exact concert, tripping on I can't even remember. But the whole crowd, whatever drugs they were on, got off on a truly spiritual level at this performance. It was like a Christian revival for freaks and hippies. One of the greatest experiences of my life! Thanks for the video!
I also saw the Shins, Public Enemy, Cyprus Hill, Blonde Redhead, Iggy Pop, Queens of the stone age, Lupe Fiasco, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Thievery Corporation, who else? Best music fest I ever went to. I can't belive it shut down, it was better than Coachella or Bonaroo
Maybe by a millisecond or two. It's incredibly difficult for me to synchronize nearly 90 minutes of audio and video down to the last millisecond. I did the best I could with my aging laptop and a crash-happy Adobe Premiere.
The day I get my Alive 2007 CD in the mail and you posted this up. You sir are a Daft Punk prophet sent down to Earth to spread the music of DAFT PUNK!
the entire weekend was awesome man. Halloween weekend in Las vegas with Daft Punk and rage against the machine!? it doesn't get much better than that. the entire Vegoose line up that year was stacked.
I only got the chance to attend vegoose in 2007 But I understand what you mean. EDC is basically all dance music, is it not? I prefer to have a wide range of music and artists throughout the entire weekend, ya know?
***** This and the 2006 Radiohead at Bonnaroo are the two best shows I've been to in my life. I didn't know that they mixed their own songs live before this show, so when it started happening I remember my friend and I looking at each other and saying "oh my god, are you hearing this!?" such an amazing night.
incredible video, kudos to the maker/editor that put this together and the amateur videos that were film! i would have love to have been there in person and this was the next best thing! cheers!!!
They actually say "Fuck it"!? I thought they were saying Touch it! This makes me laugh with joy that these two would actually put a swear in any of their songs.
Daft Punk accessed the hardware remotely with Behringer BCR2000 MIDI controllers and JazzMutant Lemur touchscreen pads within the central pyramid. Minimoog Voyager RME[7] units were also implemented for the live performances. The four Voyager units and two Behringer mixers allowed Daft Punk to "mix, shuffle, trigger loops, filter, distort samples, EQ in and out, transpose or destroy and deconstruct synth lines."
I was there that day,it was my birthday. I have to say it was the best lineup I had ever seen. Atmosphere,M.I.A. Public Enemy, Thievory Corporation, QOTSA,and of course Daft Punk. The sound was so loud I had to go back about 100 yards just so my ears didn't hurt. Great show all around.
shows that they actually are doing this all live, eg. no movement at all, different sounds and effects. eg the whole hbfs/around the world song so different to the one everyone knows...amazing!
