Dagger Rewind SM vs. Jackson Antix 2.0 SM Boat Comparison 

The antix is definitely a better surfing boat but the rewind is not horrible. Antix is way more in the “playboat” category where the rewind is more of a river runner. I say get both if you got the cash!

Small is definitely going to wayyy more playful if your looking to stern squirt/splat, surf etc. my buddy weighs 160 and paddles a small still. If your looking to paddle bigger water and not play so much the medium may be your boat. The medium is much bigger in volume and length so it’s a much bigger boat.

2.0 is definitely more playful overall! But smalls are a bit different since the small rewind is only 8.4 ft vs 9ft for the medium which makes a huge difference

I Went from the medium rewind to the medium antix 2.0. They're both great in there own regard, but the antix is just so much more fun down river/creek! It is noticeably slower, but at the same time..... much much MUCH easier to line correct, and paddle in general.

I honestly think outfitting comes down to personal preference and the size of the person in relation to the boat. In general I feel more snug in all of Jackson’s boats compared to dagger. I feel like I would need to move the thigh braces back one notch in the rewind I just haven’t done it yet. However when compared to the 1.0 the 2.0 does not feel like your knees are pressed down so to answer your question I feel like it has improved with the 2.0 but most people just prefer a particular brands outfitting due to their body type and preferences. I personally hate Pyranha and fit horribly in all their boats without significant adjustments so unless the boat is a must have I will usually stay away from them. But other people fit right in and have no issues. I would say it’s worth a try on the 2.0 as the knees are a bit higher than the old edition.

I would say no as I am 5 9 and have the block almost all the way forward, but no harm in trying I guess.

I would go with the medium if you are looking to go more down river. Just strictly play you could get away with a small. Small would go down river for you but it would be spicy.
