Ingredients
8 oz butter
4.5 oz icing sugar
2 egg yolk
7.5 oz. plain flour
2 oz. custard powder
4.5 oz. corn starch
1/2 tsp pure vanilla essence
cherries in syrup
Over 350F (175C) for 12 mins
Use an icing piping bag for shaping the dahlia, if you do not have the stringent mold.
Method
1. Cream the butter and icing sugar
2. Add the egg yolk, one at a time.
3. Followed by the vanilla essence, continue with the whipping.
4. The batter should now be white and fluffy.
5. Add the sifted flour now. Look at the video for more detail.
6. After molding the cookies, bake them in the oven at 350 F ( 175C ) for 12 to 15 mins.
The baking time varies depending on the oven size.
