By the way I grew a bunch of white Dahlia's last year for my daughters wedding. Her colors were white and green l'ancresse and small world are great producers and did well for me. Along with petra's wedding and bride to be.

Nice choices! I live about 45 minutes from Swan Island Dahlia Farm. I go several times a year to their farm and walk the fields. It really helps when choosing new dahlia tubers. Even if I don't purchase any I just love going and seeing their 40 acre dahlia farm. Last year I purchased 23 new varieties. This year I got 5 new dahlias. Happy growing! 🍃🌸🍃

Wow. I have almost all and all are very productive . My customers love them. I sold 26 bouquets in 1hour 1/2 . But mine are from swan Island dahlias only

I ordered dahlias from both Swan Island and Longfields. Seemed like the quality I got from SI was better, if you use a brush, the stamp is actually really easy to read.

The quality of them from SI is way better for sure! Just some of the stamps were smudged a bit so I can’t even after getting a bit wet 😂 I’ll figure it out though, it doesn’t really matter to me 😂💚🪴

I got some from Swan Island, Longfield garden and Eden brothers and they all looked great but the ones from Eden brothers were like 10 times bigger than from the other two!! I could divide them now and have multiple plants. So exciting!!

I’ve heard some bad things about Eden brothers tubers 😳 I also don’t have the best experience with them. I’m glad they are good for you!!

i remember from last year that if you take a slighty damp cloth and remove dirt you can read tuber name, Good luck,,,,jealous that you can leave in ground, It;s a pain here in 6B.

I ordered from long field too but through Costco. Super reasonable and I got a lot of those same ones! They have the collections at Costco online 👍🏻

They need a white color stamp instead of black. I also ordered from swan Island. I'm excited to see their flowers. I love dahlias so much. Yours will be beautiful

I ordered from swan island too! Great to see the quality of Longfield, will remember that for next year. Karma Choc was so difficult to find, everywhere it was sold out but found them at Lowlands Farm. Ferncliff Copper is one you may like too, apricot w darker center

Great choices Robbie! 👍🏻I just received my tubers from Swan Island yesterday. I selected: Diva, Ice Tea and Cafe Au Lait. I’m going to plant them in containers; mainly grow bags. I’m in So Cal 9b but going to plant them mid April. I wish you an abundance of colorful blooms!

I ordered from them 3 yrs ago, I not only couldn't read which was which, I had 7 of 14 not what I ordered, you don't know that for months til they bloom. Lovely choices, look forward to what you're getting from Longfield.

Great video, Robbie, and I love your dahlia choices. Even though I don't care for red, I do grow them because they are a cheerful addition to the bouquets that I donate to care residents. If you ever get a chance, you should tour Swan Island Dahlias in Oregon in late summer.. breathtaking.

I had the same issue with my Swan Island order-can only read one of the tubers, but I only ordered 3 from them so not too big a deal. I'm going to try rinsing them off and see if the stamp shows. It seems like the peat moss they used was the culprit. I've ordered from them off and on for years and never had this issue.

Hello Robbie, new subscriber here. I am growing some dahlias from seed this year too and just wanted to know if/how you fertilize the seedlings. My seedlings already have altleast 2 sets of true leaves.

Hi Sneha, I have fertilized them! I use a fish fertilizer and I am going it once every 2 weeks.

Very expensive that's for sure. The very popular cafe au lait 24.95 . One tuber. But. Very good quality you will have flowers for sure if not they will replace the tubers or your money back.
