Feel as tho since Daigo came to FD US he made us step up our game far as American drifting. To the point now I think it'll be very hard for him to get a top8 position if he came over now.
I think if he came back he'd do it a little different than he is now. The DOSS scoring system they use allows for some fairly sloppy runs with noticeable gaps and still be competitive. His FD runs had an entirely different attitude because FD judging requires it.
With RDS, Daigo has a similar story, with the only difference being that when he came to RDS, he faced very serious competition, but he showed himself in all his glory! But if he now goes to the RDS again, his results will probably be much worse
