Hoki Koba was underdog and easily lost to Sonoda-Kamura pair before. Damn, I don't know what did they do but they are rocking this time after Endo-Watanabe

Is it just me, or is Gideon's serve mostly too high? His serve starting position is low, but he raises his arms as he serves, so at the point of contact with the shuttle, it's almost at chest level?? Or he's just short..

Kobayashi has some crazy angle when he hits a smash from the mid court.. nobody will be able to get that back HOLY! and japanese always split sanjaya and gideon by lifting as far as they can to the corner of the court. Kobayashi needs to improve his back hand defense though when he is on the left side of the court. indonesians exploited that too much!

What’s an interesting pair, Hoki & Kobayashi! They are complementing well for each other, in both skill and characteristics. Hoki tends to be the one lighting up the mood and keeping the spirit for the team, as well as covering up for Kobayashi as the latter usually makes a lot of errors. But in big moments like the end of this match, it’s Kobayashi who stepped up and won the title for them, as Hoki had become nervous because of the situation. Hope they will keep up this terrific form in the next tournaments, men double now will become more interesting.

@@galihramadiannugrohoputra8239 data talks, no, my comment is to praise their achievements, and usually we talk about data at the end of the year, end of season, that’s when it should be matter. You shouldn’t try to be a Party pooper and throw your data randomly to talk down anyone. That’s very silly. Indonesian pair are strong but all the biggest tournaments won by other pairs last year, that fact you just conveniently ignored , it’s kind of nonsense to bring them up, so again, you are not welcome at all with your selected data.

I rather hear that than see Sukamuljo faking hitting the shuttle when he knows clearly that it's going to go out. That is disrespectful. I am glad that they lost.

For me even though Minions are ranked number 1, they are still not in the level of legends like Ahsan/Setiawan, LYD/YYS, Cai yun/Fu haifeng. This match proves it, minions just seems to lose all motivation when they're playing in slow conditions (slow shuttle and drift), they only shine when the playing conditions are fast.

Bandingkan dgn partai lainnya....semifinal pun tidak !!! ....apalagi final /Runner up. (Kalahpun selisih 2 angka...21-19...). Menang kalah wajar dalam pertandingan...meskipun unggulan 1.

fortunately Indo lost if not, they will say... thus two players had personnel problem but.. we try... and we..... In short, you play so bad then you shourld go home.
