Every player has a sad day, ups and downs, that is life. TTY no doubt is one of the best WS player of this era. It’s just not her day today. Hope she can take a good rest and come back stronger. 🤎🤎💪🏻💪🏻
Once again TTY has such “ sudden “ switching off of the buttons halfway through the game. Happened last time in WC against CYF in game 2 when she was leading then CYF caught up from behind to win it..
Is TTY recovering from injury? I couldn't watch the last game, she was ahead but just, kept making mistakes and like mentioned just turned "off". Add oil TTY!
Too sure what happened after leading 11-10 in the 3rd game. I feel that TTY started losing concentration, made lost of mistakes and gave the match away.
Which is only made worst by the fact that she is supposed to go back to world #1 again. Her performance definitely doesn't reflect that rank. I don't like Chen Yu Fei's playstyle, but she plays like a world #1 should play; makes the opponent earn they victory in a close game.
@@janushomer9111 Yamaguchi is the deserving world no. 1, a real fighter & warrior, I like her game more than anybody else, im hoping she will stay fit & not get injured
People expect her to win everything. When a player reaches semi finals in a highly competitive sport, its a good performance. By your logic, many players need to retire, because they never win a high level tournament.
@@epoxone TTY has a lot of these types of performances and it has nothing to do with her physical ability. She has a mental block that prevents her from winning a lot of major tournaments.
@@luf4rall This. Objectively speaking TTY has been relying on skill/fitness, and as these have been at a high level she has achieved a lot of success. However, over time her opponents have been both improving their own game, and learning how TTY plays. There is no longer the fear of playing TTY, and this is clear in the attitude of her opponents who now go on court knowing they can beat her. Set against this is the thought I originally posted, which basically points to a lack of determination to win - sometimes a player needs to find the will to grind out games no matter what. An example of this is of course Akane Yamaguchi or Caroline Marin. Both prepared to work hard and play as many shots as needed to win, rather than trying to play something tricky because grinding is boring.
It's always painful to watch TTY's brilliant play of skills and deceptions just to be spoiled by her abundant customary unforced errors. She often 'beats' herself as a result. Her coaches really need to look into this weak spot.
It was such a shame to TTY as she is a very talented and creative player, with strong fundamental skills. However, she doesn't have a good coach/team that can analyze game effectively for her. IMHO, ASY barely even move her feet in this game, apparently ASY is a very young and strong defensive player, often return the shuttle back efficiently, but not her movements. All I can see in this match is TTY was the tiring one running every corner of the court, and when she does she often made mistakes. I wonder why she cant play defensive-offensive game but kept trying to attack to win points. Sigh....
Honestly Im not the biggest fan for ASY. I would be happier if TZY won today. If this is the outcome; I hope Akane will take the title tomorrow. ASY is good but her attitude is NOT. TZY & CYF you high did great as well. It’s okay. Add oil; see you in Denmark 😂
She came to Malaysia for Malaysia Open/Master I forgotten which one because I went for both ; fans are cheering and one young fan is asking for her to signature after her victory; the young fan get totally ignored but she went on and signed the other. I felt bad but I’m not in a distance to be able to help that young boy. Not angry at her but just disappointed I guess. I felt each athlete be it win or lose; you should stay humble in order to promote a positive image for the sport itself not as a self personal interest. Look at Ahsan&Setiawan or Roger Federer or others great athletes; they are the kind of role model for all athletes in any sports to look up too. Win/lose; always stay humble and keep trying.
