Great video, however you don’t need to cut the unit open or remove the sides to access the eev, there is a panel that all the wires are strapped on, remove that and you have instant access to the eev without cutting anything open, all work can be performed inside the unit, hope this helps

How do you know that prob is the eev because the unit is giving cool in the area? And what type that unit VRF cassette type or acu cassette type? Thank you

Nice explanation dear. But voice in the video was little low. Couldn't hear properly during travelling. Had to go to a silent place and listen to the video very carefully. I checked my phone for any abnormality with the speaker/headphone but didn't find any. So just shared with you that the voice in the video was too low and would like to suggest for little higher and clear voice pitch in next video.
Roger Stupple I don't think so. You would have to recover the charge, disconnect the flares (there are no isolation valves on a Daikin system, they don't allow them on installs), and I'm not even sure how difficult dropping the coil would be. This is why these steps were taken, as I was shown by the distributor of the product. Thank for watching, and I may look into that suggestion, and see what's easier, this way or dropping the coil.
Had to put it on the service checker overnight, and look at the data and saw the suction gas coming back was way colder than it should have been. Started looking at individual units and saw two that were allowing liquid back to the compressor. Repair probably took an hour, and I don't set up elaborate staging for videos, just an iPhone. Grab what footage I can as quick as I can and relay what I see on this stuff back to other guys, maybe help them out in the end. Thank for watching, sorry I didn't get back sooner.
