Hi excellent video. I have to do this as compressor 1 has seized E5 L5 error codes. Thanks to you I was going to just reclaim the gas into bottle then put back in (if it weighed the same as original charge) I’ve never done a big job like this only ever on tosh. I just wondered if you could tell me when taking from one unit which I saw on video where do you put the ref line onto the other unit. Once again excellent video
@@grizzlyfn393 I'm sorry, friend, I'm only a beginner technician watching videos trying to learn how to do things like changing out the compressor. I didn't know whether it was necessary to purge with nitrogen when doing the brazing and I couldn't figure out where the nitrogen would be inputted and then outputted in this situation. I thought perhaps you didn't show it because to someone as experienced as yourself it would be obvious. I certainly wasn't trying to criticize your video or your work. It sounds from your answer like you didn't feel it was necessary (or maybe even not really possible) to do a nitrogen purge. If you would want to offer any further help, I would be very grateful but I sincerely wish you well in all events. Thank you again for the very helpful video.
