IBS Al-Azhar Asy-Syarif Sumatera Utara School is an Islamic School branch of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Cairo Egypt, under guidance of Cakrawala Insan Azhari (YCIA) Jakarta Foundation, managed by Doktor Haji Maratua Simanjuntak Foundation.
An Islamic school that combines IMTAQ (faith and piety) and IPTEK (Science and Technology) based on the education. Tahfidz school which is designed with active, innovative, creative, modern and fun learning methods. It is well applied in order to create the students who have the moral attitudes and growing wide knowledge, with tarbiyah process and balancing it in theory and practice by combining talaqqi and amali also active learning.
