Zhang was a renowned artist in Asia and is regarded as one of the greatest Chinese painters of the 20th century. His works have fetched astronomical prices at auctions, even surpassing those of Pablo Picasso. Zhang was also a pioneer in blending traditional techniques with abstract elements, paving the way for a new era of Chinese ink painting.
In this video, we'll be showcasing Zhang's signature ink-pouring technique, which has a rich history dating back to ancient China. This technique involves pouring ink onto paper, creating abstract and dynamic compositions that reflect the beauty of nature. We'll be demonstrating how to create an Autumn Painting using this technique, and don't worry if you don't have Chinese brushes and ink, you can still try this technique with watercolor and black color.
