@@shacktimecorrect! Id say pesticides are a higher risk of causing issues than fecal related stuff. Surfing Rivermouths in California after significant rainfall has always been a hobby of mine. This wave, Jalama (YUPPPP, theres a world class rivermouth sandbar at Jalama during exceptionally wet winters.), Guadalupe /Santa Maria Rivermouth, Avila Beach rivermouth with lots of rain and finally Santa Cruz rivermouth (arguably most RIPPABLE rivermouth wave in CA when conditions align-- can be slopey and fun like Trestles and can also be dredgy hollow madness. I love CA! Home forever despite the extreme leftism thats rampant. Guadalupe / Santa Maria rivermouth is treacherous, beautiful and lonely. One of the best sand bottom waves in CA. Its a mix of funky perfection when its on!!! Almost reminds me of like Sunset Beach, Oahu but sand bottom. Heavy, dredging rights with a lot of bounce, warble etc. random sections that xan either suck dry and be so hollow its intimidating orrrrrr could hit same section and die out/ mush out conpletly. Interesting wave. I miss it
@@Elloguvanah You’d be wrong. There are myriad lethal and debilitating bacterial and viral strains discharged by rivers that can kill you in days, weeks, or months. The chemicals that are discharged would take many years to do you in and you’d have to repeatedly expose yourself to them. Also, I was raised on Oahu and I’ve lived from DT San Diego to San Francisco and nearly everywhere in between since ‘84. I’m VERY well acquainted with the state’s coastline and myriad breaks.
I agree with you except for this channel. Dane knows his music and isn’t afraid to share it with the thousands of surfers who still think Pennywise and Sublime were great bands 😂😂
