Discarding the Beast Within for more control over what goes into my arsenal is a very good play, but I was nervous about taking extra damage against Azalea. It can be a very tight matchup that comes down to a single point of life.

Thanks you so much! And thanks for the reminder about Fai. I'll get around to testing some new cards after US Nats, but I'm very unexcited for him right now. As far as I can tell, Rowdy Locals and Art of Body: Tiger are the only two cards that are remotely playable, and neither of them puts him on par with Katsu or Zen. Hopefully I'm proven wrong and someone gets there with Fai this month!

Yup, you have it right! Every hero starts the turn with an action point, which you spend on your action. For an aggro deck like Kayo, that first action will usually have go again (like Wild Ride or Pulping) to refresh your action point. If the action doesn't have go again (like Swing Big), your turn ends after you play it. Scabskins doesn't have go again, but if does give you new action points if you roll well enough. This is why rolling a 1 with Scabs is so bad: you spend your action point but didn't get one back, so now you can't do anything except end your turn.

I think you're right. Flesh Bag hit a Bolt n' Shot either way, but using it earlier keeps me in the game longer while I find a way to extend the life lead. Good call! You should join MetalFABTokens.
