Excellent explanation, thank you❣️👍. I had a hard time seeing whether your 45° alignment line was running along the edge of the quilt or above it? I guess if the project you’re binding will get a fair amount of wear then traditional binding would provide more fabric in the binding adding extra protection. Love this option & tutorial!

Also, if my finished binding will be 2 inches. How much do you cut off the corner?
