Hi Lou! USA 🇺🇸 Missouri here. So happy you got the job!!!🎉 Congratulations!!! Our son is moving today too. We bought him a new couch so we didn’t have to move his old heavy couch (it’s a sleeper sofa and it’s about 200 pounds…). My husband and I are off next Saturday for our anniversary trip (finally) celebrating 50 years married. I hope you find a great apartment and I’m so happy that you found a job you’re going to love! I have one more piece of advice for you: when you pack your parcels, put some filling material in them, bubble wrap or something similar, the post office is not gentle with parcels, especially here in Germany, and buy yourself a parcel tape dispenser, then it's easier to seal the parcels,😏
