Hello🎉 I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you for doing these prenatal videos and for allowing yourself on RU-vid for free. I became extremely depressed and then became pregnant and then became even more depressed and I got out of shape and now I'm waiting on test results from my amniocentesis but trying to keep my spirits High and today I found your video and it inspired me to start the process again with getting back into shape with your prenatal program thank you so much I have tears in my eyes.

Hello maam I'm in my sixth month and having severe wrist pain, could you suggest some exercises for such condition. Doctor said it might stay till the end of my pregnancy.

Thank you these are useful but few qq..Is it safe to bend over to stretch during pregnancy, as you showed? Also it says we should not do anything that causes pressure in pelvic region.

About the laying on your back is it really good for pregnant ladies because they say we shouldn't lay on our backs for long

I am carrying very low I am in my 30th week I feel so much pains even to walk,my baby turned his heard when I got to my 5th month already.Been afraid to lift anything heavy nor workout I am scared cox I don’t want to have a preterm 😢.my hip bone n legs usually they are always painful and when I stand for too long I get pains when I sit too I feel pains.I honestly don’t know what to do..

Hi , I am in 5th month and diagnosed with complete placenta previa last week and it is really stressful as you have to be very careful. I am following this video till ankle stretching and do this sitting on bed. Also, doing her pranayam and meditation videos . That is really helping me calming myself and also the oxygen we need for the baby and pains we had. Try to do that. Might be it will help you. All the best for the time ahead.

Laying on back for longer period will press the nerves and stopping blood flow. But this duration is fine if your body allows you to do comfortably and you don’t have pain

Obviously any exercise you aren’t comfortable with, you shouldn’t do. But personally I agree for a short duration it’s fine as long as you don’t feel light-headed. For example, medical providers have pregnant people lie on their backs for a short time when they get an ultrasound. Pelvic tilts are particularly beneficial during pregnancy, although you can do them standing up instead of lying on your back if you prefer.

Hi Lily! You can do the neck, shoulder, wrist and ankle stretches in the first trimester but other ones wait till atleast week 14+ once you have a clearance from your Dr.

Hi Bina, yes if you have approval from your Dr to practice prenatal yoga, all of these can be safely done post week 20 onwards.

Hi Nandini! You can do the neck, shoulder, wrist and ankle stretches while sitting on a chair or bed if you have Placenta Previa. I will try to make a video specially for this condition soon. Take care!

Hi Vasundhra! You can do the first 4 stretches for neck, shoulders, wrists and ankles. You can also do gentle pranayama practice - like anulom vilom and bhramari ( check the pregnancy pranayama video on my channel) In 90% of the cases the placenta moves up - so hopefully you can check in the next 20-22 week scan if the placenta has moved up and then do the rest of the exercises :)

Hi Sadirah, you can start doing this 8 weeks post c-section once your scar has completely healed. Or are you currently pregnant and planning VBAC ?

In case you are currently pregnant with a previous c-section (more than 18 months old) - these are completely fine as long as your current pregnancy is low risk and you do not have a low lying placenta.
