Don’t you hate it when your doing your lip trills and then halfway through your lips just give up and your just blowing air and humming Edit: I can do it now (nearly) but to stop my nose itching I hold my nose and breathe in through my mouth😬I know it’s bad but I’m trying😓
민연KLOE ok if u insist....pls calm down there is no need to attack me- I just said I can’t help but laugh jokingly and it might not sound rude to you but it is- especially the way you phrased it.
it's crazy how much confidence i have gained from only 3 days doing that, i went from being scared to even talk loudly, to hearing my dorm neighbours making fun of my singing and not caring at all
Bruh I wish I had your confidence! I’ve been practicing my singing for years and I still peak out my bedroom door to see if anyone walks in the house while I’m practicing when I’m home alone. Keep going!
@@keeanujones it's good, still having trouble with placing my voice in right place when playing guitar and singing high notes, but i am not giving up, at least till the end of this summer
why does my voice sound ok in general but if i sing in front of someone my good voice is like ‘aight imma head out’ edit: wow i wrote this comment a year ago and forgot about it, thanks to everyone who helped in the replies! i will try to work on controlling my nerves/stress :)
Gonna do this vocal warmup every day cause i see so many comments that just seem to flat out give up or forget their goals for doing this, its kinda beginning to annoy me. My voice sounds much smoother and clearer right after doing this exercise, and i can hit higher notes more comfortably too. I used to be really bad at the lip rolls, and would usually lose breath and needed my fingers under my cheekbones to support my lip rolls, but now after practicing diaphragmatic breathing and doing this exercise over and over, its so easy to do lip rolls that i dont need finger support! Day 21: 🎉 Day 22: 🎉 Day 23: 🎉 Day 24: 🎉 Day 25: 🎉 Day 26: 🎉 Day 27: 🎉 Day 28: 🎉 Day 29: 🎉 Day 30: 🎉- Omg, I did the exercise yesterday but forgot to record day 30 woops. Anyway, my voice has been able to hit higher notes lately that I never thought I could hit before. And I've been learning how to do proper vibrato from a separate video since my vibrato needs work. Also I'm getting a vocal coach next year so yay Update: I've been very distracting by school atm, but my voice is still going strong, Every day I'm getting closer to my goal. My voice is so much clearer now but I definitely need to work on my breathing and belting Update: I recommend using song tutorials by pro singers if you want to learn certain songs but you're struggling at singing different parts of the song :)
U dont need singing for that Jk keep on doin the excercises and you will be a good singer in some time maybe a bit longer than sometime but keep on doin it
Tip: If you live in a household with siblings and or parents, don’t be scared to sing loudly. If they made fun of you they make fun of you. Your doing this to improve your singing voice, for yourself. They wouldn’t go up and judge you and if it sounds awful, keep going! Love you! Do this for me. >3 EDIT: omg! thank you guys for the likes and reading these comments warm my heart because I’ve helped you just because great and confident in your singing. Thank you so much darling and keep goin! >33 7/7/23 💕 You guys are so sweet! Reading these comments make me feel like I’ve actually helped you and me helping people just warms my heart! Thanks, I have roommates and they won’t make fun of me for it but I think I needed to be reminded that… yeah. Like. This is for me. This is my space too. I’m allowed to take up some sound space
I’ve been doing exercises for a month and my vocal coach who saw me 10 days ago last time said there is a difference in my voice and she can tell I was working 🎉 We work on hello Adele and I have enough air for entire song now!
Me too. I am the worst neighbour. Play the electric guitar, the piano, listen to loud metal music, sing all day long and practice singing loudly. Yey. They hate me. I feel ashamed if I see them.
@@nastassjaselow4344 Same here..😂😂Some neighbours understands that we are actually talanted..😉but some those who doesn't understands our music..in front of those people we are...😨😵😷
Same I sing, play music loud for dancing, play piano and violin. Actually its okay to do these stuffs but the problem is our house always produces echo so even when you talk in a normal volume it can be heard downstairs and it has a lot of windows and lack in sound proof so yeah
@@101zzzzz I think everyone can be a singer. I've been doing it for 2 months now and I really feel more confident in singing than before btw Im doing it daily. and yes doing the excercise really improves your voice. It works like a charm
I was doing this and all of a sudden I hear my parents talk about how loud the wind was howling and that it sounded like a screaming woman...yeah well it wasn’t the wind
We all coming coming out of this quarantine singing like our favorite singers. Edit: holy crap bruh I just checked this comment after a month and I didn’t expect it to blow up, thanks. Also I feel guilt Bc I haven’t been doing them and just started again yesterday...
@@chelseaopdencamp1464 I listened to my recordings recently. I think I got better and I think that I hear my mistakes easier now. I didn't only use this video, I've done: -I started practicing with instruments (For ear development -> relative pitch) (Since arround 2 weeks) -I've used other videos: "Daily Practice 1: Scales and Triads " by The Singing School, (Tried to use this one daily with "Daily Singing Excercises For An Awesome Voice") "Daily Practice 2: Scales and Intervals - The Pentachord " by The Singing School, sometimes I've used "Daily Pitch Training Vocal Exercises" by Jacobs Vocal Academy -> My main issue is/was pitch, so I tried my best to figure it out
@@chelseaopdencamp1464 I just know that I was so bad in the beginning, I'm still on my way to be what I want to be, but I believe that excercise is important
Why are there so many dislikes...this guy has made it easy to condition and improve your voice FOR FREE. Does anyone have a clue how much it costs to have a vocal coach teach you these tricks? Bunch of weirdos on RU-vid...maybe y'all just don't like putting in the hard work?
I mean it is basically not for free cause he will gain from it but seriously I support u cause in my place there are no vocal coaches and this video really helped me improved my voice
I had some major vocal damage due to military service. I've recently started wanting to see if I can rehab my voice after a friend encouraged me to do so. He had a vocal injury and when I described what my voice was doing he encouraged me to start slow and work my way up to something like this. I've been looking for a good vocal conditioning exercise after doing a month or so of humming and gentle singing to try and get my vocals out of atrophy. I'm so thankful this is on here. You're right. Getting a vocal coach, especially now, to help rehab a voice...ex-pen-sive. I currently can only get about halfway through. Not what I could do a decade ago, but more than I could do 2 months ago. Seriously thankful for this.
I did this for about 2 weeks and holy crap have I seen results, I used to be SO self conscious of my voice but I am gaining so much more confidence and theatre performances and auditions are no where near as scary as they used to be. Many family members have commented that on my most recent performance my voice has gotten much better than it used to be. Definitely recommend! Edit: I just won karaoke and got to perform in front of my biggest audience yet. Over 900 people, and they loved it. Daily warmups can really change your voice!
If u want to learn singing i recommend this: Have an organised sleep schedule Drink plenty water through out the day and do this exercise with another exercise that is atleast 15 minutes Have motivation Be patient
this helped motivate me when I saw other peoples streaks in the comments - doing everyday until my drama school auditions, been doing it on and off for a while but now I want to stay consistent to get a that voice that I desire :) I also write my own songs so I need a better voice. day 1 - done day 2 - done day 3 - done day 4 - done day 5 - done - voice was cracking abit and couldn't reach some high notes but noticing more power in my voice and confidence day 6 - done day 7 - done - voice cracks on the pitch accuracy exercise - first week! lets see if I can make it to 2 day 8 - done - getting high notes on resonance - but still voice cracks :( day 9 - done day 10 - missed - was at a party - picking it back up tomorrow :) day 11 - done day 12 - done - voice is becoming smoother day 13 - done - more breath control day 14 - done day 15 - done day 16 - done day 17 - done - getting easier - started swimming which really helps breath control - would reccomend day 18 - done day 19 - done day 20 - done - voice still cracking on pitch accuracy :( missed a week was busy with homework and uni application stuff but going to try and get back to it!! dshisaev Well, I can’t really send voice messages on RU-vid. The problem about having a high voice is that I can not hit any low notes. I can only hit high. It sucks.

does anyone else do it, bcs they love to sing, but are self aware, that they are not good singers, so they train so it will not bother others that much :D :D :D

I've been singing in bands for 13 years and I finally decided to start actually learning better singing technique. I've always used the excuse of "I sing pop-punk/I scream in a hardcore band" as a way to avoid having to do warm-ups or try to strengthen my voice, and I want to finally take care of the one thing that brings me joy in this world. I'm in my 30s now and I know it'll only get tougher as I get older, but it's so rad to see everyone supporting each other in the comments. We got this!!!
