First 6 weeks don't give to the birds and between 7 and 12 they give 2 times per week. Thats the resting period. The next 8 weeks they give the sooftfood 3 times per week. that's the aceleration preiod. The next 32 weeks they give it daily. Is the breeding preiod. In the table is more concret. minute 0:20

Yes, it's imprescindible for them it helps to have a better digestion. To solve French Moult you must remove all the nest and stop breeding 6 month. Then they will inmunize to it and you can breed again healthy and full feathered budgies! Good luck ask what you need ;)

i will ask to the breeder how manyt times he gives to them. Each component on the softfood have a reason to be, it could be givet to the normal ones also for helping in the breeding season. In the big ones it helps to apport the proteins that exhibition budgies need for building his feather...

if you check the video and you stopp it in the minute 0:22 you can see a table that shows how they feed the budgies each season. Depending if budgies are waiting for breeding or breeding they give it more or less times in the week. check the table could be useful.

There are many products and many sompanies that sale this products on my opinion the best knowledge on this video is on the natural ingredients they use and are a need for our birds.

you must look for each ingredient in internet and you will seen it. I found very interesting for exaple use herbs like rosemary, mint... i checked on internen and i sew all the benefits. Same way this softfood is egg free and i use also boiled egg in mine, but i think you must found the ingredients you think better for your kind of budgies and make your own softfood style. Every breeder makes his style that's one of the reason of visiting lot of them, i think on each visit to everywhere you can learn something. I hope this message is usefull for you!

Try to change or buy a new pair and let them choose the pair.

BudgiePlanet ok I will try , I have 14 birds and I separated all of them in twos every one is mating some pairs have eggs these are the only one left and I thought it would not be good to break a pair for another. But it’s ok I will buy one , the bird shop is near our house so it’s ok . Thank you 😊 for replying

@@Norvent101 price of do that you mean? You can add some ingredients not all, just using vegetables cus cus, eggs and vitamine e you can make a good softfood but they do it top class.

Yes because lot of vegetables, is better do it for the day to give all the vitamines that have fresh vegetables. The breeder do it for 2 days.
