I do wish you wouldn't worry so much (about lighting, focus,...) -- I went back twice to CATCH YOU going out of the frame, and, unless you edited it out at the laugh, you didn't! You're just fine!😉 I wanted to comment though, mostly on that leaf!!!...that little yellowed leaf! I really think that put it over the moon with natural beauty -- that brought a smile to my face! Thank you again, for letting us watch your creativity! 'So relaxing!
I love that you have Corrine reviewing your book. She's the perfect person for it and looking forward when she does. I love how you show how quickly a piece can dramatically change with just a few strokes of stitching. Learning so much through yourself and Corrine. (And Marion's World also). Such talented ladies. So glad for RU-vid!! ❤❤❤
Hi, your comment made my day. It’s good to be slow - I move too quickly at everything I do! I wish, sometimes, I didn’t. I would so love to see some of your work. Jenny C 🪡🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛
@@jenniferclouston7545 Thank you for taking the time to reply. My daughter ordered me some materials to get me started and I have started the first canvas which happens to be flowers. No matter how amateur it is I will send you a picture when I finish. Right now I am filling in a flower head with French knots and find it incredibly difficult but those are the rules and I will follow them 😁 Betty Hollis
I’m thankful to Corrine for introducing me to your channel. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to these videos. I’m can’t wait for your new book.
Hi, Rebecca As I said in my videos, many times, an ort is a word for a piece of thread that is left on your needle when you are done stitching. The word can be found in a dictionary! It simply means something is that is left over. Gosh, there is no need to use capitals! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Looking forward to your newest book and also Corinne's review which I'm sure will be wonderful, she is how I found your wonderful channel and the reason I purchased Foolproof Flower Embroidery. Your stitching is almost magical the way things just appear and develop each flower, leaf and stem.
Always a joy watching you… I have your latest book and looking forward to do some ribbon embroidery since seeing you making such a lovely flower. Thanks!
Hi, gee today l have also learned something. Using color change to go further than ending off. have not used much variegated threads. Had a show and tell yesterday at the Dias Quilt Guild and got a prize for my crazy quilt. Your work is very unique and l would have loved to have your book, which is too expensive to import, and creative brain. hehehehehe Thanks for the visit.
Congratulations on the win! It was difficult to get a copy of my books to my parents in Margate - they got lost in the post etc. I called Exclusive Books and they were sooooo helpful. My parents had the book in 3 days - safe and sound! 🪡🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛🪡
Thank you Jennifer for your video. Please do not worry about your camera work it was fine. I love these snippets with orts , it just shows you what you can achieve with random threads and ribbons (and of course a large dollop of talent) I also watch Corrine and like many others she put me onto you and your books. I know her review will come out before my pre order will arrive but I still intend to watch so I can get even more excited for the postperson if that is possible😂😂 Enjoy the rest of your day in your beautiful garden.
Thanks, Carol. I think I worry about the camera work because I film outdoors. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am nervous about this book! 🪡🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛🪡
Another aspirational snippet to wake up to with a cup of tea! Can't wait for the new book. Corrine is who first introduced me to your channel and beautiful style of stitching via the Boro bag - Im sure she will do a wonderful review of the book ❤
Let’s is a word that describes something that is leftover. It is in the dictionary. I simply stitch with bits of threads leftover from my stitching projects. 🪡🐦⬛🪡🐦⬛
I’m learning so much from your videos! Yes Corrine announced in one of her videos how excited she is to do the review!!!! I’ve already preordered the new book for myself.
Newbie stitcher here - just found you moments ago in my feed - happy serendipity! Forgive my ignorance, but, what is an ORT and an ORT jar? Is this a British term or acronym? Never heard it used before… rookie question no doubt, but there it is. Very enjoyable video - I have subscribed & will continue to watch & learn! Thanks in advance. 🧡
Maureen ORTs are leftover bits of thread (odd random threads). Stitchers save everything because you never know. And they the piece of thread look so pretty in a jar.
Спасибо 💐 вам большое 💕 за ваши работы!!!!!! Я не понимаю вашего языка,но чувствую что вы очень позитивный человек ❤. Ваши цветочки очень реалистично выглядят 👍👍👏👏👏👏🌹.
