Im a meteorologist i appreciate your enthusiasm. The cold front pushes the warm front off the ground (warm air rises) and this creates thunderstorms. The cold air is more dense than warm air, dry air is more dense than moist air

Excellent!❤ I learned the word occlusion whilst practicing dental Assisting. When you bring the jaws together clenched. Bad occlusion can occur from a poorly formed restoration or tooth loss or crossbite.😂

Hi Gemma does anyone knit? My mum taught me how in the dark ages and I was idiotically proud of using extra fine silk wool and managed a jumper which is to blow my own horn, a success and was a sort of meditative practice. Of course I love your sis' counterpane in the background of your videos. My mother also did tapestry work and made a beautiful fire screen. But my favorite of all was her ad hoc embroidery in the kitchen; don't lose your temper Eva (her name) emblazoned on the top the image was a cart with 2 horses out of control. i loved her so much. Dare I say the Chariot? lol.❤❤😊😊♒♒🛴🛴🐱🐱🎶🎶

All hail Gemma announcing geekiness (on board my godson is a meteorologist, think meteors it gets vr exciting) split second Poirot never worried about peering through windows searching through the mini narrative of the language of flowers yes indeed banish funereal mums ... and using the occasional Capital Letter, this is my world (for the few stuck on Good Omens like me, proxy for recent sadness and changes in life .... Again, I’m commenting late. This has been a crazy day. I just wanted to tell you how much I love your ponytail and then I wondered if that’s the same word you use in the UK for your hairstyle. I think the British have interesting words for things that we lack here in the states. I would love to hear if you call it something different. I feel you would have been a good detective, a Miss Marple, if you will. I love how you’re so curious about everything outside. And thank you for teaching me a new word! I don’t know if it’s just here in the US or if it’s everywhere, but I feel like I have to dumb down my vocabulary constantly because no one knows words anymore. It’s depressing. Lastly, I want to recommend a movie that I just watched on Netflix. I read the book when it came out in 2008 and I believe it said this movie was from 2018, so perhaps you’ve already seen it. It’s called The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I can’t remember who wrote the book, but it was great. Thank you, Gemma! I’m sick today and I watched the reading very early and now I can’t remember it, so I need to watch it again. 😁💕

P. S. When my husband passed away a couple years ago, I couldn’t bring myself to write an email to tell my friends (they’re all 1800 miles away from me currently), so I just said a few words and then sent the poem Funeral Blues by W. H. Auden. He was truly an amazing poet.

@@whitebirchtarotI fear I may become repetitive but I'm here. W.H. Auden to me was always a bit like Montaigne, separated by centuries but while acknowledging our mortality and the fleeting nature of our existence, affirmed that the profound connection we have with those we love is ineradicable. Now I messed it up of course; I think his poetry resides in that still small voice my chatter may be unintentially drowning out. (Forgive sp mistakes was working late and still catching up, so glad you replied.)

@@whitebirchtarot Oh my goodness!!! What an extraordinary work and ... my partner died in 2008. I also am separated from friends by continents and oceans and through the co-incidence of your experiences now I only yesterday spoke to my oldest friend who lives in Sao Paolo (we met in school) ... about Teddy (his name) whom she never met, although so glad to know her son. Ted and I were together formally for only a few years, so I could adopt his daughter who is a great friend to me. So strange to say his name out loud. I was sad that a friend who became something a little more didn't work out and I felt a lot of pain until I realized I was only half there and this man who didn't mean to hurt me has all my best wishes if only he knew. I was older than my mum when the mirage of a late spring shimmered in front of me and my own job is peace and reconciliation. I have always loved your choices in wonderful books and am so sorry we come together over this indescribable time. If I understand it, you are now looking after parents and deeply worried about your sister. it's too much, I know. My parents died a year apart; I looked after them both, it was a privilege; also a dear friend passed away from AIDS which back then was untreatable and rendered one a pariah. He taught law at Laval University, Quebec City and his sister sends me news of his remembrance by faculty and students. His father loved him very much (he was after all the captain of the rowing team, sorry can't help being a bit of a performing flea to keep deep sorrow at bay); unfortunately his mother, now deceased, never accepted him which he never spoke about. I think between us two we could construct a book as long as Marcel Proust's and indeed I have been uncharacteristically bavarde as the French say (talkative is a kind translation). Perhaps I shall read more Auden; Yeats also .. will comment here or Gemma's community page. I know you know this one which I must retrieve, "do not stand at my grave and weep; I did not die, I am not here" It's not macabre; the loved one is present all around. xxx E And yes I cried endlessly listening to The Book of Love; I am so grateful to my dog Kiwi at moments like this. I know you know we don't leave our loved ones behind, we grow forward with them. But of course a world of pain and no teatowel sentiments as Gemma would say, bless her what a wonderful person.

When I forget things lately, I tell myself that as I get older, I just have so much information and knowledge in my head that it’s like sifting through a large treasure chest of items. 😁 Certainly the love we have for each other and for our earth or whatever we cherish has got to be immortal; otherwise, what would be the point of all this?
