My delights. I worked in a infant school for 10 years. I loved the children’s smiling faces, especially when they skipped happily in the playing field, during the lunch hours, or playtime periods. Why.? Because the previous 10 years, l did 12 hour nursing duties, at a local hospital, on a children’s ward. Sadly many of the patients, were terminally ill......So the later school career, balanced out, all the past hospital years. I used to smile when school staff complained of boisterous happy children, l was always glad, the children were able to run around in the grassed field, unlike the many past children l’d been privileged to nurse and comfort them and their parents, in their hospital stays. This reading reminds me of the Brian and Wendy Froud card The Question. I feel like it’s not the situation that matters so much, but how we conduct ourselves during it, and what we become. Yesterday mercury retrograde was in full effect. Forgot to set my alarm and woke up when I was supposed to be at work! Was only half an hour late!
