It’s 107F in Phoenix. This city would not exist without AC 🥵 I just finished the Nat Geo series “9/11: One Day in America.” Highly recommend. These survivor stories need to be preserved as many first responders are dying off from cancer due to exposure to the toxins on the pile. I used to not be able to watch anything about 9/11, as I had a connection to events that day. But somehow in the past four years (since I started meditating) I’m able to see these stories without it triggering nightmares and anxiety. It feels almost like examining shadow stuff before releasing it.

Those Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders were huge in the late 70s when the Cowboys were so big - in fact Jane Seymour played in 1979 a made for TV movie - Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader - think se played an undercover cheerleader. LOVE the sparkles!!! YAY!!

Wowza - love the glitter! ❤❤❤ This reading definitely resonates! I feel like I’ve watched a couple good documentaries in the last few months, but none are coming to mind right now. I’ll see if I can come up with them in the next few days. Funny about the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders - I remember them being huge in the 70s/80s - I remember watching a made for tv movie about them back then - hmmm…I think Jane Seymour was in it - yep! Just looked it up - Lauren Tewes too (aka Julie from the Love Boat), and Bert Convy. 1979 - very of that era! Thank you as always Gemma!❤

Hi Gemma From chilly Australia 😊 Your sparkling joy over the Groovy Tarot stars makes getting up on a cold morning worthwhile. I think we had some 26degs days throughout Autumn, which makes Autumn blissful to me! Ita not too cold here today actually, min 10 and high of 18. That's because there is a storm brewing, temps are up compared the clear sky days. I meant to say, I don't have any jokes (yes I know that was ages back) but when ever you say "Namaste" I reply ""nowmustgo" 😂

You're as mad as me - I'm in fits of laughter at your reaction to the cards' stars knowing I'd be exactly the same. Loads of wands & disco star energy here today - my friend has just booked a holiday to Orlando for next year and, unknown to her, I've booked the same hotel and dates just to completely surprise her. We've never met in person just been pals online for ages so what better place to sneak up on her than at Disney World. I hasten to add, that we are both very middle-aged and should know better than to be traumatising life-size mice & ducks!

Oh poor you! Allergies and unconditioned heat is explosive. Aussie- lived in Queensland 11 yrs and Lindeman Is working. Woke up thinking ( 5am) how little can you look respectable in your job!! Moved back to Victoria - hello beautiful Autumn + coziness. I loved overhead fans as it is the lack of air movement that so paralysing. Hope tomorrow is cooler Gemma

It's been a high of 98F/37F this week here in Atlanta, which is pretty brutal, especially because it's always so humid on top of that (just walking to your car, it's like being wrapped in a hot wet blanket, as the air is so thick). Worst thing is that while we DO have A/C, our stopped working on Monday! Thankfully it stopped in the evening and so it only got up to about 82F/28F in the house before the repair man came the next morning! And thankfully, it ended up being a free fix/visit, as we were still just under the one year warranty, because we bought the unit last Summer. Definitely not fun, though, especially as our houses are built to KEEP IN heat, so it was actually hotter in the house that night than outside (and our windows don't open, so...)! 😭

Thanks Gemma! I had a bit of a self love epiphany awhile back when I was listening to a talk by a Buddhist monk/meditation teacher (Mingyur Rimpoche). There was a guy in the audience who said that he didn’t love himself, actually hated himself, and didn't know what to do about it. Mingyur Rimpoche asked why he was there for the talk and when the guy said it was because he hoped he would learn something that would help, Rimpoche said that that was evidence of the love that he had for himself, without realizing it. he said that everything we do, no matter how misguided, is an attempt to be happy and to suffer less, and that its motivated by love. As I've thought about it, it seems really true, and it's affected the way I see myself and other difficult people. When I remember of course 🙃

Hi Gemma from Australia. Not sure if someone has already recommended it but with your love of octupuses/octopi (I believe either is correct usage) you may appreciate the documentary movie My Octopus Teacher. I have heard it is highly regarded but have not watched it as it is a bit of a tear-jerker, apparently (unsure if I can bear it). BTW it was a chilly low of 7 degrees here in Sydney this morning 🥶with a high of 18 degrees expected.
