although i do agree with your disappointment with the traveler not getting information with their sibling, it makes sense from a writers view because the traveler isnt worried about answers right now, hes just glad he can see hear and talk to his sibling, even if he isnt getting information.
What kind of necessary information would traveler want from his sibling if the the whole goal of the journey was to find the sibling in first place, its like talking to his sibling to get information that helps in finding his sibling thats dumb logic, like traveler effectively asking for spoilers.
It also makes sense that they can't reveal too much information if they decide that the Traveler forgets it. There shouldn't be too much difference in information between us and the Traveler.
11:30 at that point Paimon just… merged her mind with The Traveler like some kind of divine parasite because se even recalls something from that “dream escape” place of Caribert
Was waiting for this!! I've had so many questions since finishing this quest in the dead of night 1) Who buried Clothar with his wife if Caribert died when he was made into the loom? 2) Is Gold working with the Hexenzirkel AND the Abyss Order? Is that why Gold is obsessed with creating a flower not from this world, to help the Abyss Order? Are any of the 5 even working with the Abyss Order at all?? 3) Skirks master is a sinner... and childe's ult form is the foul legacy... did the tsarista/pulcinella pull him to be a harbinger bc they saw his potential from that? Is that why he's described as the tsaritsas weapon?? ARE THEY GONNA SACRIFICE MY BOY 4) Did Dain did get his ass handed to him so badly that he couldn't even come say bye after he lost the eye of the first field tiller? Damn what a little bitch 😭😭
1. We still don't know how or when Clothar died. But maybe the Sibling buried him. 2. We have no evidence Gold is working with the Abyss Order. The Visionary is the only one clearly involved, but even then we don't know the degree of involvement. 3. Childe's ult is known as "Foul Legacy", simply because it was invented by Surtalogi the Foul, one of the Five Sinners of Kaenri'ah. Most likely, Piero, who was also from Kaenri'ah, recognized that form, remembered Surtalogi's achievements on the battlefield, and decided he wants somebody like that on his side. Childe's ability to navigate the Abyss is surely valuable too, but it doesn't seem to be used much. Probably it has its limitations. 4. Dain was healthy enough to walk. Most likely, since he is immortal, his physical wounds heal easily. But whatever mental wounds he suffered probably made him want some more time alone.
Lmao, that PO segment. 😂 Also, even though it was short, this gave us the most lore we have gotten in one go. The sinner being Dain's brother isn't something I had on my bucket list. Hopefully, we will FINALLY get to see something Celestia related in Natlan. 🙏
@DawitsLookingforEmilia Technically,That would have to be the outcome(Pun not intended)though.Kaeya had to be existent somehow. So he would’ve had to have kids.
@@keorishalashaka2064 It is possible for Kaeya to be a from a different branch of Alberich clan. Maybe he is a descendant of Clothar's legitimate children.
and THE PRIMORDIAL ONE THE PROGENITOR GOD (starts choking) HAILING FROM BEYOND THE STARS, dain quest was a banger could have been better but oh well still solid, fuck my ni.. archons they dont cook these type of lore like dain BRO'S COOKIN
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia Technically speaking both are categorized as archon quest as its just archon quest chapter IV act VI in this case, by both i mean normal AQ and dain ones. The only ones that arent marked as those are i think first dain quest?? if i remember correctly
Yeah, the answer to the Abyss sibling's question is obviously herself and Khaenriah in their attempt to make, to what I speculate the loom of fate to be, something similar to Phobos and the Grand Symphony which itself might be a waterdown version of the Heavenly Principles. If the Abyss Sibling keeps going at this rate, chances are high that the situation is gonna turn out to be like Klee, the Abyss Mage, and Klee's treasure bomb.
I'll be honest, with the current story, i'm actually the most interested in Rerir out of all the Sinners. Rerir is not only the grandson of Odin in mythology but is also the great-grandpa of Sigurd and if you believe in the Laughing Man's speculation that Capitano might be kinda based on Sigurd (i do), it can be very interesting for Natlan and the whole of Fatui plot. It would also make sense since Capitano does have blue eyes (as Khaenri'ahns) and is also still Human, despite how strong he's supposed to be, which also fits Khaenri'ah's ideals of puttiong Humans in the first place.
So i looked more into it and just the info on 5 Sinners give so much questions and possibilities. Does sibling know who the sinner was? Cuz, if you remember, they chastised Dain for not being able to help during Cataclysm in "We will be reunited" but, if dain is to be believed, the 5 sinners didn't even try to help. So, it would be weird if the sibling know about this yet decided to side with them anyway. To me it means either: A. Sibling doesn't know and, while Alberichs and Abyss order think to have took over from Irmin, Visionary might have put them on the track to unknowingly help Irmin (especially since it seems like Irmin is one of the 5 sinners, Hroptatyr) B. Sibling does know and, then, maybe Dain either didn't tell us everything or he himself didn't know everything C. Sibling doesn't know but Sinners also don't work together (which could be the case based on Gold being part of Hexenzirkel, seemingly benevolent organization), so Abyss and Visionary trying to do their own thing, as opposed to Irmin's plans Also, at this point it seems that aside from Wagner's Ring Cycle, a lot of Norse stuff in Genshin is based on Prose and Poetic Edda, with every of 5 Sinners being mentioned there i think. + i wonder if all of them relate to Ragonarok too Also, if Capitano really is based on Sigurd, there's high chance that Pyro Sovereign is gonna be Fafnir and that Capitano might actually kill it. Fafnir also tells Sigurd about Ragnarok a bit, so that might also be part of the story. Vedrfolnir actually has a "counterpart" in Rasvelgr, the hawk between whose eyes it sits. They are both guardians and witnesses of the fate of the worlds, and their presence on Yggdrasil reflects the importance and complexity of the world tree in Norse mythology. This fits with the Sinners line about shedding a tear at the end of time. And with Rhinnedottir, i actually wonder if she might be also partially inspired by either Frigg or Freyja, especially since Frigg is supposed to know the fate of everyone. All in all, i'm convinced that either Snezhnaya or Khaenri'ah chapters just gonna be Ragnarok at this point
It was a little disappointing that we didn't have a cutscene between Dain and the abyss sibling. But I guess it was expected to not reveal how they fight. Dain left off screen was like man, he really is like a dad that went to get milk and didn't return. Dainsleif becomes Dadsleif. Just bamboozled.
That quest got me thinking that the Loom Of Fate is the opposite of Irminsul. Instead of erasing memories, it adds new ones. Still, I wonder what are the possibilities of making new ley lines. Does it mean lands like Enkanomiya can be reconnected to Teyvat? Perhaps even all of the world before the second war can be restored? I guess the Sibling is wondering about it too. And the final thing to think about, is burning of Irminsul in one of the previous previews, which is said to still be in the future of the game. Will ability to remake the ley lines help counter that? Will new ley lines be the reason why Fatui decide to set Irminsul on fire? Is being on fire actually the normal state for ley lines in Natlan?
it's not often that i get emotional during these quests, but omg I cried literally so much, it was literally 4 am and i was screaming promising I'd find a way to bring caribert back when they showed us that last picture, it genuinely broke me, I was crying so much and literally shaking and couldn't stop for the next few minutes reflecting on it now, it's probably one of my favorites so far, second only to all the furina stuff. We now learned that the fatui and the abyss share a common goal. with each new quest it seems us joining the fatui and the abyss in the war against the heavens is evermore likely
A morbid part of my brain hopes that the Sibling dies and The Traveler goes Full Spartan Rage mode on the Dain and The Heavenly Principles as a result.
Focalors deception only worked cuz Celestia sleept, no wonder they didn't took any action after the Throne got destroyed. poor Furina suffered literally for nothing. 😔
I had a feeling you were gonna go off even more after Dain mentioned the Five Sinners lol (They deserved to be put down by our beloved Sustainer of Heavenly Principles fr fr)
Great video. I’m new to this channel and The first minute of this video almost scared me away. I almost blocked it because the voices were soooo annoying. But I share your frustration and loved your breakdown!
Does this reveal anything about the whole descenders thing Nahida talked about at the end of Sumeru quest? Do we still not know how our sibling is not a descender but we are?
I feel like Dain's gonna have some real power like the 5 sinners, after he's called Dainsleif "The Bough Keeper". This means the six pygmies are dain and the 5 sinners not the archons.
i honestly suspect two things 1. dainsleif is working with pierro or atleast connected with him 2. dainsleif already suspected of his memories being tampered, which makes me thinks lumine taking the field eye tiller being apart of his plan which is why lumine says "i believe im the one walking into a trap"
@@hexnea dainsleif is called the twilight sword, and pierro continuously talks about burning the old world to create a new one which is awfully similar to ragnarok considering the large amount of norse references in genshin. either dainsleif is acting for everything, or he's getting fooled because most of his memories are gone, which he himself admitted
Just a reminder Reindatr (fuck the spelling I'm not looking it up) had world shattering power but still thought 5 more withches were needed to even challenge Barbetos, just saying, the cope lives on
Nah, that's what i am talking about, like what's venti deal? Doesn't that mean that he know about the abyss and stuff and the witches, yet still somehow they tried to take over his dragon, and the abyss attacked mondstad, and venti acts so clueless, and we know he is on good terma with alice from the 2nd summer event, like wtf is his deal
I don’t understand why we can’t remember the convo w the sibling even tho we can remember the convo with caribert even tho they took place in the same space?
Because Caribert was the tether. The conversation between the siblings took place after Caribert disappeared so everything that happened after Caribert disappeared would disappear as well since he was notntgwre to tether that conversation to his reality
When we first reunite with Lumine she has abyssal power. Here she seems to have her original power (or a part of it). Can Lumine switch between abyssal power and her original power just as Aether can switch between the elemental powers?
Why is there a spoiler in my notification, I tried to stay off the Internet because I’m stuck in chapter 3 act 5 where I have to one shot scaramouche because I managed get Eula to crit rate %51 but I still have a long way to go and I have to do neuvilette next then Amber than yaoyao and I’ll be done for now

Im gonna say Something controversial. I dont Like the abyss twin. They act Like they have the Moral high ground despite the abyss Order running around causing suffering and being a danger to everyone. I know we are gonna get railroaded into siding with them but If IT where Up to me id Side with dainsleif against the abyss
The Traveler immediately dropping everything just to be able to have a casual conversation with his sister is something very human and realistic considering how much he misses her. It makes a lot more sense than if he just started interrogating her with a list of questions for us, the players, to have our lore dump.
Yeah, if was in Travellers situation I would do the same thing honestly, just enjoy a rare leiusure time with my long lost sibling rather than demand an info dump from them lol
@@GLoLChibs it is but priorities, if u didnt get in touch with any of ur close ones for a long time, the one thing u will do when u see them is have a normal conversation
I swear to God, the first half of this quest felt like Dawit was in the writers room with a C4 strapped to his chest threatening to blow it all to Celestia if they don't tell him who the Sinner is.
They cannot show us how Dain fights because: 1) it would make it clear what power he and our sibling yields 2) we will get to fight him so late in the future... By then, they came up with a bunch of characters and maybe new fight mechanics and... They have to make sure Dain is superduper powerful 3) this will be the last fight we'll have before we get to reunite with our sibling, it has to be cathartic. Having a peak would ruin the feeling But don't worry by then he lore bombed us before disappearing so many times, we'll want to beat the sh!t out of him, no matter his background story
The still could've given us a small epic sword clash before cutting back to the traveler Also we should've gotten a final word with dain before the quest ended
@@quietguyjosh4643 As I mentioned above, they don't want us to have a clue about their power dynamic, so they cannot show them fight. Now, what little they could have let us see from this perspective... would have been so little, it doesn't worth the trouble making it. And having final words with Dain? Since when do we have those? :D Not to mention, that it would have killed the joyful mood they wanted to leave us with. They also don't want to reveal more than they did (I think, the traveler made that clear enough). Remember, they planned this game to go on for years.
I was kinda disappointed but i liked that it was revealed that dainsleif a human is stronger than the abyss sibling, im getting tired of humans being just weaklings so that satisfied me now i need capitano to be a human too.
@@harshittikka5705 i think it was only mentioned that he was a mortal so he can be anything that isn't a god, we can't say anything until its confirmed that he is truly a human. Sorry if my english is bad xd
The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies: 1. Blind Pygmy: "The Visionary" 2. Foolish Pygmy: "The Wise" 3. Shrunken Pygmy: "The Foul" 4. Timid Pygmy: "Rächer of Solnari"? 5. Carefree Pygmy: "Gold"? 6. Deformed Pygmy: "The Twilight Sword" Out of all 6 Pygmies, only 1 felt guilt and remorse for what they did to the light prince, wrapping the prince with a tablecloth and taking him away from his 5 brothers in order to seek help from the princess. At the end of the story, that Pygmy: "hid the body in a tree hole and walked off alone into the night, and into a self-imposed exile." Hmmmmm... 6 cursed Pygmies (Sinners), 1 opposed the 5, is filled with grief, is on self-imposed exile, and has something important hidden in a tree (Bough Keeper)... I wonder who could that person be...
12:44 OK so nobody is mentioning this in any of the recaps I've seen. You see the two wood carved statues in the middle picture? They exist in Atossa's dream and are placed up on a branch of the tree. I think they were also on the big tree in the final Caribert's domain of consciousness too. But they are also in the real world of the game even after you end the quest. What I'd like to know is if they were in the game world BEFORE you do the quest.
Bruh the abyss twin says why are you with dain he failed to protect his people then proceeds to join one of the people that went out of their way to do nothing

@@nicolas._.2294 The only known overlap between 5 Sinners of Kaenri'ah and Hexenzircel is Rhinedottir the Gold. But they are, in many ways, similar organizations - gatherings of particularly talented people from different fields who don't really have much in common. For a while, it seemed possible that the Visionary and Nicole are the same person, but Dainsleif has confirmed that Vedrfolnir the Visionary is his older brother, and thus, male. While Hexenzircel are all female.
@@nicolas._.2294 Venti's knowledge is unreliable, even when he knows which century it is now. He seems to spend much of his time in hibernation, not listening to the rumors or anything. @@nicolas._.2294 What does "pursuing perfection" even mean? Well, from a meta perspective, nothing. While all of these people can be said to pursue perfection, in practice they are, most likely, doing totally different things. In this quest we have learn the name of 5 transcend being that Dainsleif describe as traitor, traitor that usurpe a power that Can destroye the World... It remenber me about the story of the Prince of light, the pale Princesse and the 6 pygmies , in the story the 6 pygmies betray the Prince of light and try to take over hes power, but one of the pygmies actually stay loyal to the prince and help him at the end...Dont to you think its kinda similar ? 5 betrayer, power that Can destroye the World (will of the 3 descenders who is actually the Prince of light from the story ) and Dainsleif the pygmies who still loyal to the prince and seek revenge to the other 5 pygmies 💀 i really think im into something no ?
Caribert was a bigger loss than Signora to me, there it is I said it... I will now see you once I am done coping, trying to find ways he could come back...
The five sinners of Khaenri’ah is the biggest lore bomb to me. The Loom of Fate is interesting but a little underwhelming from what I expected. And honestly I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks Caribert’s model was kinda fine despite it being an npc lmao
all of dain quests are short....this one wasn't even short, it took me like 2 hours to complete because i didn't rush it, the Requiem of the Depth is the one quest that was short it was like 40 minutes, the Bedtime story is perfect in my opinion in terms of time, not too long and boring like the Meropide and not too short and rushed
@@Hronika-kw5pl what do you mean "didn't rush it" there is nothing to rush, it's just dialogues? and i'm not talking about it being short in comparison to other dain quests, this one was rushed and abrupt all on it's own
I always thought the "Sinner" was Gold, since past lore called her the "Great Sinner", even tho I thought it was weird that the "Sinner" had a male voice in the Caribert quest. Now it makes sense: there are MULTIPLE Sinners. Why didn't I think of that before lol
