Genya really deserves the world. She's gone through so much this season. Daisy really gave justice to her character.

I think Daisy Head had the absolute strongest performance out of all of the amazing actors this season and this really shows it. Her understanding of Genya... she's a phenomenal actress and I am BEGGING for the show to be renewed so we can see more of her.

Genya Safin was supposed to be a side character, but Daisy's acting just makes her so incredible that she becomes the most memorable and favorite character in the whole season

Genya is a great character and I’m so happy we got someone as talented and caring as Daisy to play her. She’s done so much justice to the character, and it makes me happy to see her talk about her experience and process in playing her ❤

Finally Daisy getting the love, and appreciation, she deserves. She steals every scene she is in, has had the best performance in both seasons, and is generally one of the highlights in every show/movie she is in.

Daisy tearing up about Genya & acting out the ruby-drawing scene, really shows what a huge sweetheart she is😭 i love her so much and i'm so happy about this video, just recently thought about wishing to see her react to stuff more since we'd gotten some of the other cast members. The deep understanding she has of the character paired with her eloquent explanations is just,,, superb.

daisy speaks about genya's emotional journey with such consideration and empathy, its a joy to listen to. i think she did amazing things with genya this season. her story is a much needed anchor in all the grand political and fantastical drama, a reminder of the people in ravka affected by the struggles for power, the people no one cares about. and daisy really keeps us so grounded in genya's experiences that its impossible not to care.

GENYA DESERVES THE ENTIRE WORLD (and that world has David IN IT)

This video just made me notice the look on her face when she touches Adrik’s hand because David made it and added gemstones (2:45) 😭 Daisy’s performance this season was just phenomenal!

Me and Genya were crying the same way during the ruby reveal. I had to pause and be consoled by my partner for a moment. Absolutely stunning performance, Daisy!

I know everyone is talking about which performances were the best this season and who carried the show (I have seen a lot about Inej and Kaz) but personally the scenes between Genya and Nikolai were absolutely stunning and I wish more people acknowledged them. There was so much depth in these moments from her pain and strength to vocalize what happened to her to her rage. It felt so powerful that she was the one to ask Nikolai what kind of king he will be with his mother standing behind him and only hours before watching the king and his brother get literally ripped in half. Paddy and Daisy played it so well with all the raw emotion and complexity it deserved and really showcased their characters as more than the puppy prince and beauty. These moments really took the show to another level for me.

I'm very excited to follow this actress's career because the work she did in S&B as Genya and in D&D as Sofina were some of the best performances I've seen lately and she looks very talented, I'm sure she is gonna be a very big deal in the near future ;)

The absolute love in which Daisy handled Genya is beautiful and comes across magnificently. All the casting was great, but Daisy was hands down the single-best decision casting wise. She handles Genya with such love and care, but also deep respect and admiration, and it comes across. No one could have done my Genya better, truly. Daisy brought the character I relate to so heavily to life and she did it flawlessly. I just can't believe how lucky we got with her, with Daisy Head, as our Genya Safin.

She is such a talented actress! But the real revelation for me was what kind of person she is behind the scenes. Sensible, deep-thinking, sensitive. Her statements from recent interviews are gold standard aphorisms that came to her mind during an ordinary small talk. Delightful!

I sat through all of "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" constantly thinking, 'I know I've seen this actor somewhere.' I mean, I _just_ finished this season before watching it. Totally didn't recognize her.🤦🏻‍♂️ Anyhow, she's a great screamer! You feel this character's hurt. She would've been AMAZING in the era of horror Scream Queens.

Loved Daisy’s portrayal of Genya. Started shadow and bone the show without having read the books but saw a lot of fan art of Genya and show-Genya (thanks to Daisy) quickly became one of my favorite characters!!

girlie you and I both were hopeful we'd find David. even in the books when genya was like "We can't find David" I was like girlie he'll be around dw like he's here why are you being so dramatic. then obvs the next scene was of his pyre so guess I was in denial instead 💀

i appreciate how brutal they made the scars look. oftentimes shows/movies have a tendency to tone down scarring on characters (i’m looking at you Game of Thrones and Tyrion’s nose wound), for whatever reason. i can sometimes get it for practical reasons (e.g. ratings or prosthetics), and even with Genya you COULD argue that they toned it down somewhat. but even so, they kept the important parts there: the mutilated eye, the deep wide scar, and it makes all the difference between keeping to the severity of the scar and the scar losing meaning altogether due to adaptational changes.

Daisy did incredible portraying Genya and the most emotionally impactful scenes in my opinion of this season are hers. She understands the character at all levels and it shows so well. I love Genya and I can't imagine anyone else playing her with the power and emotion Daisy has.

I truly own Daisy all my heart. She was just brilliant this season. She broke me with every scene. I really really hope we get to see more of her🥺She has so much more to give!
