Dedicated to Ariel because without her gentle nudging, this one would have stayed in the WIP folder, like all the other ones for the last two years. Also, she's been my dousy warrior buddy; we spent the last half of s7 furiously speculating about these two in dms and it was the best time I've had in a fandom for quite a while. Love us and love that these two got their happy ending.
I wish this had one drop of cohesiveness, but alas, it all fell apart about halfway in. I just want it off my hands at this point, so here.

Also if you're the same Raven as on tumblr, I just wanted to let you know your meta on peggysous vs dousy and the importance of not comparing Daisy's needs to that of a white woman, was absolutely spot on and I still go back and read it sometimes. THIS IS SOOOOO GOOD JULIE i am screaming. the hozier. the sexiness of this. simply some top tier hets with some good fucking editing. i love the way you timed give your heart and soul to charity where daisy sacrificed herself for the team to immediately cutting it with sousa telling daisy that he's going with her/the way he has always been on her side as backup since day 1.
