In 1982, 20-year-old Nina Stibbe moved from Leicester to London to work as a nanny for the family of noted editor Mary-Kay Wilmers. She remained in the role for five years, during which time she wrote countless chatty letters to her sister, Victoria, many of which were later published in the bestselling book, Love, Nina.
