Daisy Mae Swift. Born on international women’s day, March 8th 2019. She was 6 pounds 14 ounces and 19 inches of utter perfection.
Daisy’s birth couldn’t have been any more different than Jameson’s. It was quick, easy and probably the only thing that could have ever healed me from what I experienced giving birth to Jameson. I am so grateful for her and the experience I had bringing her earth-side. It was so important to me that I had the perfect team of people there to support me. I had the most diligent, experienced, understanding doctors. I had my knowable, gentle, and reassuring friend and midwife, Carol. I had my caring and supportive sister/best friend/doula, Emily. An extremely talented, respectful, and discreet photographer, Anna. And of course the best partner I could ever imagine, Tanner. The most supportive, comforting, calm and loving father of my children.
My experience would not have been what it was without each and every one of them.

Just remembering you and Tanner being with Jameson, playing songs for him, loving him and saying goodbye, makes me smile now and cry, while you are welcoming Daisy to this world with so much love and pain too, pain of having this only child when she should have her brother there, by your side and hers. My mom lost 2 babies before then adopting me. She was still just as happy when I was born. A baby is a baby and all are precious. I tell them I love them every day.

Congratulations! I'm so happy for your growing family. When I saw you cry, I know that your soul pain from missing your little boy was more than your physical pain but I feel it also was happiness because she was on the way to be born and it was such a strong and real birth. I have waited so long to see this video!!!!!! Rachel and Tanner , Since finding your channel, I have watched every single video you have posted. I have shed SO many tears with you. After finding out that you were expecting, I have prayed day after day after day that little Daisy will arrive in your arms safe and sound. And I know my prayers helped. I am beyond excited for you three to be the perfect little family that you are. This video is such a tear jerker! All I kept thinking through out the video was about dear sweet baby Jameson and how precious he is! I know he’s in heaven now, but know I will probably always pray for you guys to find peace in your hearts. Your hearts will forever have a part that belongs to him and a part that will always be for him. He has a sweet little sister now. You and Tanner are such great parents and I love how you guys videoed Daisy’s birth! Keep up the great work you two! I have had 3 miscarriages and I thought I would never be a mommy but it took me 4 years of trying to finally have my baby. when you lost your son I cryed and I know the pain you were feeling. now seeing you give birth to your daughter made me cry happy tears !!! congratulations on your baby girl. i see she is so loved.. I'm definitely issuing for you and your little one. I lost my first baby as well (second trimester miscarriage though, not nearly the same thing as what you went through) last year and got pregnant with my second a month after when her birthday would have been. And I'm 33 weeks now, still scared to death too. So with the fear thing, I kind relate. I think everything is going to go just fine for you though, I really do. I don't know why, but I just have a feeling, I get feelings about things and I'm usually right. Wishing you all the best, a super smooth and easy labor and an absolutely perfect healthy baby. 5 years later and I watched the loss video 15 minutes ago sobbing my brains out. Now I’m sobbing out of joy and the pain of knowing you’ll always miss your first. To your core. My mother passed in ‘21 (yep - c took our Matriarch😭), and she never stopped grieving over the loss of my brothers twin, Jeffrey. They were born 10 months after me, and she raised 4 of us. We went to his grave over the years, and it always struck me that I can’t imagine how it would feel. Now I’m a mother to 5 married kids and 16 grandchildren, and I’ll keep Jeffrey’s memory alive for her. I see you’ve had a son now since this video was made. I have to go see that birth too!!❤️

You made me cry and I could only watch the video of Jameson for a minute, it was incredibly sad.. Wow, she is sooo beautiful. The feeling of holding your rainbow baby for the first time after all the months of worry, pain and regret is the most indescribable feeling in the world. After losing my son Lucas, a year later we welcomed my now 2 year old Maxwell. It was the happiest day of my life, treasure this time with your beautiful family. Congratulations!

Congratulations on your sweet rainbow baby. I experienced a loss at almost 12 weeks beginning of 2018, baby was healthy but passed due to sudden loss of oxygen. Devastated wasn’t even the word to describe the pain I was going through. We decided to try for our rainbow and got pregnant, which I just had her end of December. I remember being in the hospital for such horrible news to then celebrating bringing my baby into the world less then a year later. It’s an odd experience but so grateful to have her. I wasn’t as far as you were and can’t even begin to imagine that pain of going through a stillbirth but you guys are in my thoughts and your sweet baby boy is celebrating in heaven having a little sister to look over!

I also am just sobbing at the moment she was born. The things that must have been going through your mind in that moment when you heard her CRYING which you didn’t get to hear before. Mixed with the joy that she is here and okay. Oh my goodness. I didn’t get to experience childbirth because my husband died young of cancer. I am glad enough to be able to witness your joy. I truly, truly admire the courage you have to go through a traumatic stillbirth and yet choose to carry on and try again, not letting the negative loss scare you into having another child. I lost my son Jamison February 12, 2018 still born due to preeclampsia. I was 22 weeks and 3 days when we lost our sweet boy. I’m currently 13 weeks pregnant with our rainbow 🌈 and you guys give me hope. I pray everyday to God to let me deliver a beautiful healthy living baby. I’m so scared but yet so excited to be given another chance, thank you guys for sharing your story.

OMG I cried immensely! I just remember the moment my son was born! I can imagine the pain you went true with the loss of your son! Sometimes we forget how fortuned we are and take life for granted! I created so much because I forgot how blessed I was to get pregnant and have a smooth pregnancy and a fast delivery! Something could have gone different, but still, nothing compares to your story! God bless Daisy and Jameson is her guardian angel! Protecting her where ever she may go😘

Congratulations! I have never been so happy for a couple I never met! But your story with jameson made me cry so much when I found it months ago and now watching you have your little rainbow brings me to tears again.
