This is actually the coolest live performance method I've ever seen on an SP

another cool thing i found is you can actually use the record function without pausing the delay beat. So you can record the final loop and then use the other fx on it or improvise ontop of it without it getting looped in. delay--->build beat---->rec beat----->hit recorded to pad and have it loop then so long as you remember which delay setting you had it on you can loop that finished loop again and continue building the beat. (make sure you turn the pad off after it loops once so your not layering the same loop over itself) now if only their was a way to make the delay timing more configurable i might be able to do something more useful with all of this. Though fun as balls!

on ableton if you put one of the simple delay effects on the master track and play around with some of the feedback you can set up a drum rack with all your samples and do this
