This is a very creative set - he is totally live - very interesting sounds - people with the negative comments cannot deal with the amount of purple in this room
@@BrandonAdams1010 I bought one around 2012 or 2013 but I no longer have it. I’m not surprised they are hard to find now.. the fx and slicing are amazing
unsynchronised and synchronized at the same time. hip hop and techno at the same time. alien and human at the same time. creating his own genres on a minute basis. aka Dakim ps: r e s p e c t
I keep coming back to this set and I'm just so fascinated by it... Some parts can be meh, but then he just hits you with a sound gem out of nowhere. I also like how it is almost feels like a 36 minute long beat (aside from the small pauses here and there..) that is constantly evolving and molding into something else. He technically could carry on the same beat for hours and it will transform into something completely different every other minute. His delay style is just so dope. I've been applying it to my own beats using the sp 404 recently and it has really been helping my workflow. I'm sure a lot of big names are going to catch on soon because this is definitely an interesting take on improvised beat conjuring foreal. Dakim is a true pioneer and innovator when it comes to sound design and beat construction, people just don't know it yet.
I'm always coming back to this set & mnd's Haha Dakim is mad talented! Love the delay effect beats. Opens my mind up to new ideas watching sets like his.
Deon Jackson Yooo what's good Ruff! lol Yeah man, I've been making a lot of tracks lately with that delay effect. So much fun letting your music just flow and evolve. It's my way of just letting loose when I'm getting too frustrated with more structured production.
I love how unpredictable he is on this set,I wish there were more Dakim in my country and my town,I mean more people trying to look for their own sound and not sound like a copy of Flylo or Lapalux(dont get me wrong im not against Flylo or Lapalux or whatever) or maybe the trendy electronic shit in hype at the moment, viva Dakim and be yourself fool!
at first i was like what the actual f***.... and then i realized more and more his experimental concepts are out of this world its crazy lol imma genre this shroom hop
dude is so damn good. found him by accident couple months ago, picked up everything i could find. tons on bandcamp. it's *so* damn hot, the smeared beats you knew had to exist out there somewhere, he's got em.
THIS GUY NEXT LEVEL (though this isn't the best thing i've heard of his) check out his free tape on leaving records. seriously changed my life. so raw. haters don't comprehend the next level abstractions this guy creates.
Very interesting. Is he using the Boss SP-505 as an effect processor only or as a sampler as well? Which one is the sequencer, the Korg or the Boss? It seems their MIDI clocks are not in sync.
where do you think this distortion comes form. and what do you think it is? just a filter with ressonace. or is it an effect on the microkorg?. I don't own one, so no clue.
