You are the first person to really get her as a person.I love everything you said about her because she is the women in all of us and not afraid to do it or say it. 👏👏👏👏
Blake Lively and Dakota share this air of intelligence, class, and beauty. I see how these women put so much heart, and put so much devotion in their roles.
@@joanavitorino1436 Dakota has some great emotional moments in Black Mass and Lost Daughter, but also I think she needs stronger roles. Blake is moreso mediocre but I feel like both actresses really care and are eager to learn about their projects instead of coasting off looks and fame.
The way Dakota Johnson made Anastasia Steele not only a lovable but also compelling character really shows her skill, and as someone who always made fun of the Fifty Shades series I was very surprised (and impressed) by the way she portrayed the main character. It's very interesting to see her point of view as an actress, trying to earnestly bring the character to life and learn all about the world of BDSM. She made Anastasia a far more interesting character than she is in the novels. I still think the story itself is meh but that's got nothing to do with her
I actually liked book Anastasia better but Dakota's performance was hilarious (in a good way) lol the way she brought Anastasia's innocent reactions and gullible nature to life was everything 🤣
I love Dakota, as a person and as an actress, but that movie is absolutely awful. That movie is a nauseatingly in-accurate and disrespectful portrayal of a facet of the world of bdsm that completely ignores its essence of boundaries, ongoing consent, and mutual satisfaction, respect, and safety. I wasn’t able to watch more than 15 minutes of it.
@@winxclubstellamusa omg exactly im only 15 and decided to watch it last night and i'm so traumatized by it I was crying my eyes out, it's absolutely disgusting to me😭
I wish they didn’t skip Bad Times at The El Royal! Brilliant but underrated film. Original, creative screenplay. Her character was so packed with unconditional love and sadness. She delivered the role perfectly.
Never knew she was Melanie Griffith’s daughter. Never knew Antonio banderas was her step dad. Just love her for who she is in her acting. Great actress. And her voice is so soothing.
Lol😂 you must be a young person she was at a award show with her dad and brother. Then another one with Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas and she was so cute and handled her self and well spoken. Soft spoken and endearing. 🥰🥰🥰 Lovely family 😍 😍 ❤ ❤
@@Yudit346 yes this!! I watched a vid on how Tippi Hedren literally started the whole movement of Vietnamese nail salons. She volunteered at a refugee camp in Cali and had her manicurist teach them, and they taught others and so on and so forth... so that is why a lot of nail salons are Vietnamese owned and operated. Kinda neat.
Dakota Johnson may be soft spoken, but she has a big drive as an actress. She could also be a perfect narrator for audiobooks. Just because she was Anastasia Steele in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ doesn’t mean she could no longer do more to further maximize or maybe improve her acting capabilities. Now she’s gonna be starring in a Jane Austen book to movie adaptation. Dakota’s just a sweet soul. I hope to see more in diverse roles. She deserves it.
As an actress, I empathise so deeply with what happened to Dakota in Black Mass. It takes a lot of prep to truly give yourself to the overwhelming emotion of a character. Once you break through, it is the most incredible experience and you feel so relieved and satisfied. To be told that wasn't captured would be so hard as it's very hard to get back to that place again.
The final cut of the scene seemed great so I can' only imagine how much better would be the original. I wouldn't discard it was sabotage to avoid her upstaging other actors.
@@lms1190 Super fishy. She was informed of it 8 HOURS later!!! Isn't the director literally looking at recording monitors simultaneously while the actors are acting? Doesn't makes sense. Seems her worst and most upsetting experience yet.
@@benjaminroman916 In reality, time is money on a set and a director would be risking their entire career if they wasted time sabotaging actors. If a director thought an actor is over-performing, then they would just tell them to bring it back. I have been on sets before where we have gone a whole day filming to find out the boom wasn't recording so we had no audio. These things happen, and no one wants it.
The Lost Daughter was incredible… the acting, videography, audio and music was absolute perfection. Everything felt so tense, stifled and haunting-a claustrophobic fever dream. That was by far my favorite role of hers and really solidified her in my book as the kind of actress who always delivers
I could watch Dakota Johnson's interviews all day. She's such a delight to watch , she's charmingly beautiful, and natural sense of humour, I love her tone of speaking, she is graceful and plus always has the perfect outfit on.
Are we not gonna acknowledge that Sam Taylor Johnson is a groomer and she did fifty shades was maybe bc it’s how she was with her (Husband). He was the submissive a minor.
i do agree that she's a groomer but that's a different dynamic to a bdsm sub and dom. also, she probably just wanted to do it because the book was _HUGE_
Love her, she would do amazing and be such a different role for to be in a suspense type thriller/horror. Her demeanor would be so unsettling and creepy in that setting
Idk if I want to be friends with her or propose to her. Imagine falling asleep to her talking every night… Better than a noise machine lmao Also- Dakota does this very subtle thing when she acts where she brings life into her eyes by giving them subtle movements like she’s genuinely looking over the person she’s talking to (acting with). Lots of actors tend to forget to give their eyes life when they act. Truly makes a difference in performance
First - I can't believe it, I never thought I'd get it, but here we are. Thanks to everyone for the tremendous effort, I couldn't have done it without you!
I remember Dakota in Beastly which was one of her first roles, which also featured Vanessa Hudgens, Alex Pettyfer and Mary-Kate Olsen. The accent thing in Persuasion is super interesting, I often hear that it is easier for English people to do an American accent than it is for American people to do an English accent. I think Dakota does really well though.
*Dakota Johnson hated being ‘involved’ in the JD and AH TRIAL* *“I was like, ‘For the love of God, why? Why am I involved in this?’” Dakota recently explained to Vanity Fair. “I don’t remember that at all, but please, take me out of this. Don’t let this go further.”* *“Can you imagine, oh, my God, if I was called to the witness stand?” Dakota continued. “I can’t believe that people are watching the trial like it’s a show. It’s like it’s a courtroom drama and my heart breaks. It’s so, so, so crazy. Humans are so f*king weird. The internet is a wild, wild place.”*
How does this interview not include Dakota Johnson's two best performances & films (she's barely in The Social Network so that doesn't count)??? - Peanut Butter Falcon (2019) - Cha Cha Real Smooth (2022)
She should break down how she had her security guards lock people inside a coffee shop during her variety shoot. Acted like she owned the place wanted to go behind the counter and make a mocha or something. Was refused then had her security guards lock everyone inside the building tying the door with rope like a psycho
She is the most amazing human being, cool and mysterious all at the same time , she's a kind of person who can make you feel comfortable even if you meet her for the very first time .
True I believe she's a good person, but she has the appeal of a librarian or a housewife with 3 kids. I didn't watch 50 shades because it's TMI for me:/
Very inspirational, you’ve had a beautiful acting career…I’m going to go watch more of your movies…you inspired me….guys Today & past couple days have been really inspirational…acting is another art 🖼 you guys do a phenomenal & beautiful job ❤️❤️❤️
