Being an Odia, I love all the traditional painting styles of our nation, but Eastern styles like Madhubani, Bengali and Odia pattachitra styles have a special place in my heart. Bengali ones are very evocative and I congratulate you for this endeavor of yours. May Hara-Gauri bless all of us.
@@Ranit_Chandravanshi1 yeah maybe, but we actually don't have a fetish for goddesses like in Bengal or even Assam. Odias are mainly Vaishnavaite throughout history, Kali maa and all Tantric goddesses usually have temples outside resident localities in Odisha( like on hills/forts or forested regions, deserted locations basically) because in traditional Odia culture, animal sacrifices are a big no-no, due to historic Vaishnavaite influence. We actually fear keeping photos/idols of such devis in our houses, because it's hard to appease them, unlike Jagannatha( common Odia perspective). In contrast, Bengal was mostly Shaktite before SriChaitanya influence, even its almost same as of now as well, Odisha has always been Vaishnavaite throughout its history, although we have our local goddesses ,who are a manifestation of laxmi or benevolent aspect of Parvati( Gauri). Durga puja is a newer phenomenon influenced by Bengali culture in Odisha. You would be surprised that the only time, we worship Kali or even Durga is via syncretic forms of Jagannatha and these goddesses. Even, the most popular Shaivite temple in Odisha( lingaraja) houses a syncretic form of Sri Vishnu and Shiva. It's a common belief in Odisha, that Odisha is so much loved by Sri Vishnu that even Shivji and Devi has to cling via Jagannatha to be worshipped here.
