I made this, but the dal thickened as it cooled so i was left with just three blobs on a plate, the only way to make this is to serve it fresh from the stove.

Being a sindhi , very grateful this recipe has been brought in the most authentic style. Although in many sindhi households, people just avoid preparing 3 dals because of the effort and time it takes to prepare. Thank you chef!❤

Another one is in Mulund west ( mulund colony ) in hindustan chowk , another one is shivai snacks in Veena Nagar. Also might be Karachi sweets in Mulund west( not sure about this ) . Also it is available in Gurukripa in sion, but they serve with single dal

I am a big fan of yours.. so showing my love by dropping this comment...I am a die hard fan of Dal pakwan.. I first ever ate this in my Nanihal in GWALIOR.. its awesome.. and we dont get this in our suburbs in Mumbai.. so we used long for Dal Tikkad .. only when we use to visit My nani, my mamu use to bring this for us for breakfast ..now being married n staying in Chembur.. i still didnt got that taste of Dal pakwaan of Gwalior.. I will watch the vdo later and will surely try this authentic recipe n will again post a comment
I didn't know there was so much work in this recipe. I saw a RU-vid video where a street vendor made this with moong dal and aaloo. I tried and everything turned out tasty .... But your recipe is next level....i am surely gonna try this version... Thank you chef.
Oh my god! Everytime i think this is the peak level of perfection but Chef Sanjyot Keer and his full YFL family who is working so hard bts proves me wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. Loved the recipe! Being a Sindhi and eating pakwan from my childhood, I can tell you that you can keep pakwan for 2-3 days, but yeah it catches moisture quickly so you need to keep it in a dry place.

अतिशय छान पदार्थ. शालेय जीवनात कोपरीच्या टेक्नीकल स्कूलला जाताना मित्रांसोबत शेयर करुन बरेचदा खाल्लाय. त्यामुळे तसा आठवणीतला आणि पोटभरीचा चविष्ट पदार्थ. तसंच सादरीकरण तर जबरदस्तच. माझ्या स्वप्नातलं किचन आहे तुमचं. चकचकीत किचन, तांब्या, पितळेची ठशेवाल्या पातेल्या नी डेगच्या, उत्तम क्रोकरी, लालचुटूक लक्षवेधी फ्रिज, वेगवेगळ्या कोनातून फिरणारा, पदार्थांवर फोकस करणारा, कधी झूम करणारा कॅमेरा आणि देखणा आणि उमदा संज्योत ज्याची at a time hindi & english वर उत्तम command असल्यामुळे प्रेक्षकांना गुंतवून ठेवण्याची हातोटी. सादरीकरण आणि सादरकर्ता both are amazing! काहितरी खिळवून ठेवणारं बघतोय याची सारखी जाणीव होते. yfl team is a great team...Best of luck yfl...

Great chef!! I have seen many RU-vid channels even chefs preparing this dish but none was authentic way.Yours is perfect authentic way to make Dal Pakwan and that Utensil call Sipri you will find it only in Sindhi homes.

Awesome recipe. We make it with Chana dal only. But he goes all out with 3 different dals and so authentic recipe….. with other flavors and aloo …. Good research and in my view his recipes are great and his instructions are awesome and excellent Chef 🧑🍳 ❤ 👏 !!

I immediately made Dal Pakwan after watching your video and it came out very tasty and authentic. I have eaten Dal Pakwan both from Ulhasnagar and Thane but even this is equal match and off course very light since it is homemade.
