Ingredients: - Toor Dal: 1/4 cup - Masoor Dal: 1/4 cup - Chana Dal: 1/4 cup - Green Moong Dal (Split): 1/4 cup - Urad Dal (Split): 1/4 cup - Salt to taste - Ghee: 2 tbsp - Cumin: 1 tsp - Dry Red Chilli: 2 pc - Onion: 1 pc - Hing: 1/2 tsp - Ginger & Garlic: 1 tbsp each - Green Chilli: 2 pc - Tomato: 1 pc - Haldi: 1/2 tsp - Kashmiri Chilli Powder: 1 tsp - Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp - Coriander Powder: 2 tsp - Kasuri Methi Recipe: 1. Take a bowl, add toor dal, masoor dal, chana dal, green moong dal (split) and urad dal (split). Wash 2-3 times and then soak for 30 mins to 2 hours. 2. Take a pressure cooker, add the dal to it along with salt, haldi, ghee, 1 green chilli and water. Pressure cook for 1 whistle on high flame or 2-3 whistles on medium flame. Once done, mash lightly. 3. Take a kadai, add ghee/oil, cumin, dry red chilli, onions and hing. Cook till translucent. Add ginger, garlic, green chilli and saute for 2 mins. 4. Then add tomatoes along with haldi, red chilli, kashmiri red chilli, coriander powder, salt along with some water. Cook well till oil rises. 5. Add the cooked dal to the tadka, add water to adjust the consistency, top with kasuri methi, serve and enjoy! Additional Tadka: Heat some ghee, add dry red chilli, hing and kashmiri chilli powder.
हल्दी नमक के साथ थोड़ी सी हींग भी डाल देते मस्त स्वाद आता है जब प्रेशर कुकर में दाल बनाते समय नमक हल्दी घी के साथ चुटकी भर हींग भी डाल दो तो पूरे घर में महक हो जाती है बल्कि गली तक पता चल जाता है की दाल बनी है ।
