DB has been a blast to watch hit through the years. IMO he gets better every year too. That’s probably the most impressive part of watching him play for a long time.
Watching DB's swing at 1/4 speed is still ridiculous, and the commentary at that speed is like listening to two drunk softball bros. So basically, this video is the best thing I'll see all week.
I'm blown away at his strength . For a small guy I hit well but I gotta generate all a buck 80 forward to 'crush' one .. Short compact swing in slo pitch truly measures someone's strength
Just a status update for all the homies. We have about 1000-1200 hits on my 26 ounce db44 and not a single spider web or crack. This bat lasts forever.
I'm pretty new to softball and see that these come weighted anywhere from 24oz to 28oz, would be cool yo know what you're using in these vids unless you said and I just missed it. Thanks for the info!
Not answering your question but from my experience most people swing 26 or 27. I’ve rarely seen anyone go lower except with the monsta bats and some pure bats. Your biggest help would be getting a feel for balanced and loaded bats and just finding your groove.
Curious - if I normally swing a KP in a 27 early in tourneys, and find myself turning to a 26 late in the day - what ounce would you suggest between a 27 and 26? Love the vids guys - keep them coming. Appreciate it.
@@slowpitchbros hey there my Miken Ultra Legacy II 30 oz just broke after many years of service, what do you think would compare or exceed its performance these days? are you interested in doing a heavy bat comparison?
I would like to see the miken ultra II on your channel !! It's an illegal stick but it's so much fun to hit with this monster !! i love your video keep it up !!
Those are bombs by Dale. But he's also a really big dude so it's kind of expected. What's more impressive is the smaller guys who still hit bombs 350 plus
