Kaylon Centers, she was, and I personally know that from having met/talked with her a few times when I worked at Daytona, Darlington, and Talladega NASCAR tracks 1996-2006 as part of the security/safety teams.
When I watch this, its so easy to connect to Jr and his family. Hell Jr is like a part of my our family since we've been watching racing for so long. I have so much respect for Jr and his family.
That is the damn truth!! He’s by far the most talented of all of SR’s kids And Dale Jr looks like 1/2 of his mom & 1/2 of his Daddy! I truly love & appreciate how Sr raised him not to be a brat and to work for what you want and if you don’t want to you don’t have to just don’t come asking for handouts! He became a great man and he had some very heavy weight put on his shoulders when Sr died. Because everyone expected so much from him! I think he did a great job handling all of the pressures that came with his last name!
I use to watch NASCAR RaceDay religiously back when it was on the Speed Channel when it was still around. I missed this episode because I was at that race that day, when they brought it back as the Showtime Southern 500! Damn good Jr interview with his mom, after 10years I finally got to see it and never knew it existed. RIP Brenda, you've got two amazing kids with Dale Jr and Kelley. Is it wrong for me to say this I miss Wendy Venturini on TV? That girl had some amazingly beautiful huge tits, and she knew what the hell she was talking about when it came to racing!
Funny thing, my Mother never wanted Mother's Day celebrated on that day. She said we had all year to do something special for no reason at all and it should not be a certain day, if we loved her, surprise her, etc. I would sneek cards from me and the cats in her paper, etc., but I see what she meant. Every day we need to tell our parents how much we love them, because they are gone much too soon. I miss mine terribly, Michele. I adore the relationship I see between Jr., and his Mother.
Brenda Jackson was a "hoot" and a great mom. Many years ago, she got angry over how Teresa was treating Dale Jr and Kelley. One day a confrontation happened and Brenda put a "whoopin" on Teresa that was far more than a face slap. Nobody there dared to intervene either, including Dale Sr.
Jr. might not be the best driver NASCAR ever saw, but he has his head on square and solid. He's easy to admire and root for, that's why he's so popular. Then you have Kyle Busch, he's more successful and appears to be miserable. No race driver wants to be booed and be the one everyone hates. Personally I was pulling for Brad, he's the real deal and what an exciting finish to the season.
@@sergeantmasson3669 I'm sure that took place behind closed doors 🤣😂... tough to be married to a driven champion... unless you're a cold hearted gold digging bitch 😉
Dale Jr became highly successful and Kelley had a big part in that happening. Dale Jr did very well as a driver. 50 NASCAR wins, Two Xfinity championships, as a driver, three Xfinity series championships as a team owner. 15 times, in a row, voted most popular NASCAR Cup Series driver. He has a net worth of $300+ million.
you could see and tell that the relationship between jr and teresa was strained and not compatible with one another. You think Jr wanted to leave the team his father started and owned? He had no choice as he was in a rough spot. i still think the whole thing messed his head up...he doesnt lack talent...nor does he lack agressiveness. What he lacks to me is heart. Sure he loves racing...but there's something missing from him that he once had. Slowly he's coming back together with himself.
Kelley gave Brenda two granddaughters. One born in 2000 and the other born in 2002. Dale Jr's two daughters were born in 2018 and 2020. Brenda Jackson died in 2019.
@@frankt9288 What right do you have to tell me what I can, and cannot do? You can't tell me where I can, and cannot go either. You butt-hurt because you were wrong? Need a tissue, crybaby?
@@sergeantmasson3669 How was I wrong? I didn't say that was Brenda's first grandchildren ever, I said she now has a grandchild from Jr and my comment was from 3 years ago 2018
@@frankt9288 Clearly, your comment implied that Dale Jr's first daughter was Brenda's first grandchild. By continuing this argument, you're becoming more of a jackass than you already were. Run along now little man and tell mommy that you need your security binky.
its nice to see the other side of the drivers because as a fan we only get to know them from what we see on the track and we rarely get to know anything about the family or the life they have away from the track unless they had an interesting past that got them involved in racing for example junior johnson came into the sport from moonshining of coarse richard petty followed his father and kyle and his son also but outside those kind of things we dont get much of a chance to learn about who they are and i think that is a shame because even though they are now famous they had a life before nascar and have a life away from nascar that some people find interesting
I hate to here that. It's like when Sr. did an interview , where he was very happy with his life at that time. that was prior to the Daytona 500 that M. W. won . Every time things are really good ... something bad is coming for you. It always has for me.
@coolpilot2001 he keeps that stuff super private, you never hear about his relationships, i think it was last yaer or the year before where their was a rumor that jr stole a college football coach's wife or that was the coach said
WRONG ! Dale Jr never attended any college that had a sports coach He attended Michell Community College and earned a degree in auto/truck mechanics. Thus, that stupid rumor is false.
Don't take this the wrong way!! I enjoyed SR's year before his passing but i was never a fan just because i never thought a man should put his wants before his families needs. Yes he suceeded and is a lengend today. I couldn't do the thing he did to get where he got. Maybe that's why i'm not a millionair too. 23 years of marriage i'v alway sacrificed my wants and need for them. So it's hard for me to look up to man that wasn't willing to do the same for his family. Whats his story teach kids?
Dale Sr did the only thing that he knew he was good at. His parents never had much of anything and he vowed that would not happen to him. Sadly, it cost him two marriages and the loss of his children's youth. His daughter, Taylor was more fortunate than Kerry, Dale Jr, and Kelley. IMHO, "witch" Teresa caused much damage between Dale Sr and his three older children.
what does being the most popular driver in nascar have to do with winning??cause we all know he is ONLY the most popular because of his name..jr sucks.
vinnie vincent, if stupid could fly, you'd be supersonic. 50 NASCAR wins, 2 Xfinity series championships, inducted into the NASCAR HOF and much more. It damn sure isn't because of his last name either. He also has a net worth of $300+ million. WTH have you ever accomplished, jackhole?
vinnie vincent, Really, DUMBASS? 50 NASCAR wins, two Xfinity series championships. He won two Daytona 500 races. Won the 2001 Daytona Pepsi 400. He's been inducted into the NASCAR HOF. Everybody has a right to be stupid sometimes but you're abusing the privilege.
right this isnt Teresa whom by herself ruined DEI because she wouldn't give Jr. enough controlling stake in the Co. to be competitive! Then we all saw what happened to DEI when Jr. left!
& Sr. left the entire company to Teresa? He didn't spread it around to equal shares to his ex wife there & all of the kids he had once they come of age?
@@jasonrobbins7143 Dale Sr never got around to modifying his will. At 49 years of age, he had no expectations of dying that young. When his best friend, Neil Bonnet, died young, Dale Sr should've had a hint that it was possible for him too. Witch Teresa inherited everything and flushed DEI down the crapper because of her greed. She wanted to control everything. Kelley tried to tell Teresa what she was doing wrong but that fell on deaf ears. Thus, Dale Jr, and Kelley walked away and left Teresa to fend for herself. We all know how that turned out. Even Taylor has very little to do with her own mother anymore.
