I always hold the door for others. My husband has to help another woman who is struggling with her bags, the door etc. I'm not insecure in my man to worry about silly things like that.
I am so in disagreement with them. I’ve had women holding doors for me all the time. I wouldn’t date a woman that gets mad if I help a struggling woman. I would want a man to help her if she needs it.

So listening to this podcast, made me wonder about the choice of women being dated. I thought it was standard to open, hold or close the door for others. That is regardless of my gender, just good manners or being polite. I can't speak for others, but I've always been savvy with money, to the point where I'm in a much better financial situation than my partner and can look after both of us should the worse happen. Thank God for that. As for planning, lawd me plan things to the Nth degree, I find me annoying at times, but I love structure and perhaps that gives me some control 😊
For my man helping another woman is a good thing to me I watched a woman walking with a man and struggling with her stuff she was carrying and I asked my husband to help her hoping she would see the man walking with her was no good
I would say there are women like myself who wants to make money outside of working for another person. Literally discussed a proposition with another like minded woman because we want more sources of income. I think about it morning, noon and night.

The women you both described sound insecure and bratty. Secure, mature women help other women and don't get jealous over stupid stuff. I also think holding the door is regional.
