Dale sings My Viking Sweetheart 2 10 23 

I went and visited my 97 year old father, Dale McAllister, in Wallsburg, UT yesterday. He was not able to get out of bed that day and couldn't hear well enough to have a conversation with him so I just played for him some of his many love songs he wrote as a student at BYU in the late 40's that we had recorded 20 or so years ago. On this one, My Viking Sweetheart, which he wrote while in the Vikings club at BYU, he started singing along the words and knew all of them from 70 years ago so I recorded him singing it. Pretty good for an old 97 year old man and very touching to me. Hope you enjoy.
