god, i live this video! i haven’t watched the newsreader yet because it’s not super easy to find in the us for free/life stuff but it’s been at the top of my list for months and it’s all because of you. can’t believe i’d never left a comment before, but nonetheless bravo!!

I’m not sure why you’d make this comment? What did you think it would achieve? As it happens, I chose this song specifically as it’s about a queer mixed-race Asian person struggling with yearning for someone they can’t have. I personally feel it fits Tim extremely well. Their love story is a tragedy of Dale’s making and I chose to explore that in this video.
@@sonicwaffles28 Don't get me wrong, I thought the images were beautiful, and I am an avid TimDale shipper from wayback. I guess I'm just not a fan of fastpaced, chirpy music, especially to accompany their tragic, Romeo and Juliet style love story. Those two are the main reason I even watch The Newsreader, and I guess my musical tastes are just more on the romantic side. I'm probably much older than you, but tbh, even when i was young I preferred more sentimental , emotional music. I even sang torch songs in piano bars. We may be worlds apart musically, but at least we are both fans of those two gorgeous men!
@@robinservais3881 I’d suggest listening to the lyrics next time. It’s not a ‘chirpy’ song, it’s a tragic song, completely befitting their ‘Romeo and Juliet style love story’ as it seems upbeat until you actually pay attention. I chose it for exactly that reason. It’s also generally considered polite not to critique people’s work if they didn’t ask for it. I love this video, I’m proud of it and I think it’s some of my best work. I’m not bothered by it, but in future I’d suggest you don’t do it? Just watch something else! (If you love TimDale, I have two videos of just their scenes you might enjoy)
