We absolutely adore Dale! Tonight marked our 2nd annual Valentine with Dale Watson live at Gruene Hall. He’s 101% entertaining. He’s so contagious. Now I can’t get this song outta my head! Same thing happened last year. 😂We love you Dale! Allen(your smallest fan😊)and Eva
Just saw Dale and his band in Raleigh, NC at The Pour House 5/30/14. First time seeing them. They were really good. I would recommend all country western enthusiasts to check Dale Watson out. If you have seen him I would recommend you go back and see him again.
I heard Dale Watson for the first time August 2017. My brother Tom White took me to see him at the Ice House in Selma, NC. Met Dale afterward! Great Music and Nice guy too!
when i was 19 i played guitar for a band and the lead singer-bass player was about dales age here. he went by the name Franky Reb i got most of my chops playing songs like this enjoyed every minute of playing this style of country music. this song brings back lots of good memories, great song, great artist.
Thanks for posting this. I Just wish everyone knew how great he is. He is my favorite country artist of all time. I hope he continues to put out music for a long time.
The best. The coolest. Retro-hip, clued in tuned in rolled in to one. It don't get no better than this band. Go see DW when he comes to your town. Big fun!
Why this guy isn't as big as George, Johnny, Merle, Willie, and Waylon is beyond me. THIS is what country music is to me...not that Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton shit!
Somebody needs to put together an album of classics like " Faded Love " and " Once A Day " with steel guitar wizards like Cindy Cashdollar, Paul Franklin, Ben Kitchen, and Don Pawlak, for starters. That thing would sell out in a hot second.
Dale with band really has great country sounds. It again appears that Texas is the only place where "real" country has exists. The millennials are now flooding the air waves with the so called pop-country genre. Most do not have either pedal steel, fiddle, or fiddle any more. How the country radio stations can still call it country is beyond me. Hopefully Dale can still bring us the real country, if only in Texas. mos60
